Maybe we can convert you to half full someday *edit* that makes no sense lol guess I read that as half empty for some reason...
Interesting. I think Cole is alright. In some ways he would have been a better fit, but I really do love the mentor dynamic we've got going on with our veterans now.

He has dropped 14 pounds already. Roy Hibbert Has Lost 14 Pounds Since Start Of Offseason SEP 16, 2015 2:49 PM Roy Hibbert has lost 14 pounds since the end of last season after consulting with a nutritionist, getting his weight down to 268 pounds. Hibbert saw how the NBA has become smaller and quicker and he's attempting to adjust. "I saw how the trend was going with big guys in the NBA with how Golden State won," he said. "I started changing a little bit." Hibbert agreed to take only $100,000 of his $2.3-million trade kicker so the Los Angeles Lakers could also sign free agents Lou Williams and Brandon Bass. "In the long run, it was a no-brainer," Hibbert said. "If I were to say I wanted my $2 million and the trade couldn't get done, I would have been back in Indy and wouldn't have gotten that $2 million anyway. I would have had to basically fight an uphill battle just to try and get on the court. Hopefully I can make that [money] up in the long run if I do well."
Feel bad for the kid, not his fault Cleveland was dumb enough to draft him 1st. I'd take a shot on him if we weren't already stacked at PF.
Wow, terrible pick at 1, but you'd still like to see the guy succeed. Hopefully someone gives him a shot if he's working hard.
Plenty of teams should be a little interested. He looked good playing with Team Canada this summer too.
I wonder if Anthony Bennett is a Laker fan and watched Lakers games since he lived in Nevada during high school and while attending UNLV. If he is, maybe he'd be interested in signing with the Lakers.
I think he looked good for Canada too. If you're judging him as the former top pick, he's gonna look bad. If you judge him as a serviceable player, I think he is not done in the league at all.
Yeah. For 1st time since I can't remember how long (many years) ..... I forgot how much "fun" it was to get on my knees a few mornings ago (no idea what exactly) after eating with morning routine a normal looking but definitely "ready" banana that seemed pretty "sweet" and hug the toilet bowl and ralph. :SadPau:
Man, if I'm the Lakers, you sign this guy right away. Low risk, high reward. You never know with Randle...he could get injured again...may not be a bad idea to take a flyer on Bennett as a back up 4....he's obviously not a #1 pick, but is he a serviceable player that can develop into something? Absolutely. He's still pretty young too...I don't mind taking flyers on players like that. I don't see him signing with a contender but it also wouldn't shock me....a team like the HEAT are going to be interested in him though...or even a team like the Suns who could be looking to move Markieff could take a flyer on him. Could also see Houston calling him....
Meh..... we have way too many bigs. Would much rather find a way / do what's necessary with cutting Kelly / Sacre / last resort Jabari loose to be able to keep Upshaw and Metta on the active roster, whether Upshaw goes to D league or not. Metta for the many reasons beyond play on the court it would be great to have him. Bennett.... blech.... and I don't even know his game. But wasn't one of the raps against him that he was overweight that whole rookie year? Get out of here when you are that high of a draft choice some franchise has chosen to take you at. And passed on again since then?? Get your s*** together, chump. :FishScola:
