Walter is still being investigated. Supposedly he’s trying to sale his shares in Manchester. It looks like he’s doing everything to keep the Dodgers. And that means off setting his smaller assets. Definitely a forced sale under duress.

Basically he was creating companies and having those companies approve loans for other companies.

it’s Ponzi scheme adjacent. Basically if you have a company and you approve your own loan. It’s nuts. He did that for 400 million dollars allegedly. It’s definitely something that is there.

so Mark Walters was playing Stringer Bell and got the Lakers did a deal where Jeanie made it where she had to sale to him. He’s a gangsta.

kind of glad we did this sale before all this s*** exploded. So we wouldn’t become the New Orleans pelicans when the NBA owned them. Just a circus. Even though it is now.

The Busses gotta go and I’m glad the brothers and Jaynie. Voted Jeanie out to sale. Paybacks a b****. And she tried to fire all them and vote them out and then keep her ownership. But this loophole in this sale made it possible to sale their shares to Josh Kushner and Bob Igar. That’s why you heard Igars statement until it’s not.

he knows Legal. Jeanie don’t have the votes. So f*** her. Don’t f*** over your family. That’s a b**** move. She deserves it.

you can’t own the team when you sale it. Who are you Cuban.? She needs to go. And get the f*** out. She’s destroying her families legacy the other siblings are trying to save it. They’re right they want out. They just want their money and they don’t want to be involved in any of this crap.

let us have our team. Let Kushner and Iger clean house. And Jeanie if you wanted to keep the Lakers you should’ve never sold it. And Joey and Jesse were right. They were about the Lakers. They scouted. And you threw them to the curb and fired them like they were rag dolls. I know they got paid. But she really was classless. And those guys actually paid their dues and worked.

    Good riddance Jeanie.

it does. Really hopeful we can get some professionals running things. No guarantees on results but I am beyond over the Buss kids.

100%. Will take time but the clock is ticking loudly for her little circle.

I'm fairly concerned at this point whether Luka will stay in the long term or not mainly because of the uncertainty, but we'll see, I guess.

Good question. It’s in the back of my head. Jeannie and the busses gotta get out. Let Iger establish his hold on this team and relationship with Luka. They aren’t even paying me and I’m already working for them.

hey Iger when Luka brings his daughters out to L.A. free tickets to Disneyland unlimited rides. And meet the whole Disney characters.

With the right people in place, then we can keep Luka. If it continues to be this circus then yeah, he may bail.

jeanie needs to just take her money and f*** off. what a mistake dr. buss made not selling the team while he was still alive instead of letting his squabbling, nepo babies run the show

jeanie's legacy is pushing out jerry west for her friends and family. she ran this team into the ground and they'd still be in the 2010s dark ages if lebron and nico hadn't saved them

iger/kushner has the potential to be a nightmare, but i'm glad we won't have to hear about any more buss family drama soon

Indeed, it’s pathetic of Jeanie to try to hold onto her power at this point.

I get it, she’s entitled to by the letter of the law, but at this point she had her chance as governor, and should really move on for the sake of the rest of the 5/6 of the family and herself. The new owners want them out and I think she should take the high road and sell.

She wanted to pocket the money and still be in charge. For a second, she had that set up and its probably a big reason she went with Walter as the owner.

That's over now and she needs to bow out gracefully but likely won't.

Her brothers are right this time. The tag along provision is a perfect off ramp but she's too stubborn to see it.

You said it perfectly. She got that sweetheart deal from Walter and that’s why she went with him. Pocket the money and still maintain ownership lead owner decision maker for 5 years. It made no sense. So sale the team and your calling the shots. You get to sit in the chair own the team. Represent the team. Then what’s the point of the sale?

mark liked it because we know why he liked it. Stay out of the spotlight and we know why. He didn’t want anybody seeing him do anything. Don’t make too much noise. It’s the Deniro in Goodfellas.

But when Iger and Kushner bought the team. They want to own everything and run everything. They want to be front and center. They want to be the owner. Bob Iger is 75 years old. He doesn’t want to wait 5 years to say hey he’s the guy. And Jeanie is leading the way. So he was like get the f*** on. He’s ready to lead and run everything now with Kushner.

Jeanie had her opportunity. Very simple don’t sale.

The way I remember it is Jerry wanted the Buss family to own the Lakers forever, passing it down through the generations. But reality has a way of changing hopes and dreams.
