If he isn’t getting traded, think I’d rather see him continue to develop and play over Hardy

I'm hopeful this is the season he pops performance wise into meaningful minutes. If Bronny takes as big a leap again as last off season he could be there.

it's funny; i've been holding him out of my trade/cut scenarios as if lebron were still here, but tbh, i may also just think he has a shot at breaking out. we have a spot for someone who can defend 1s and 2s and hit open threes. cam carr is coming for it, but bronny's got a head start.

Hardy is a real player. He's not a good defender but he can shoot. His 3pt shooting was always over 36%:

    40,4%
    36,2%
    38,6%
    39,8%

He's a scorer off the bench. Always over 20ppg per 36min.
I prefer him over Bronny because he has actual skills.

Bronny developed well and looked like an actual player late in the season. Kudos to him for that.
That's an extremely low bar though. He still has no above average skill and his defense hasn't been showing off with the big guys. His offense is still extremely limited. No burst on drives, terrible shooter and is just a liability.

Manon can do what he does and doesn't cost a salary slot for now. Has more upside too.
Basketball wise, the decision is clear. But really doubt we go there. Ideally Bronny is involved in a larger trade which is better for optics.
But I won't sweat it if he stays, he's a good kid

this is the big issue. feel like he can't contain nba pgs on the dribble, and at his size, that could be it.

Third season pays for all? He looks like he can be a legit shooter in the NBA, and he has shown enough flashes of defensive potential that one can hypothesise it could be real.

Hardy is the better player right now, but Bronny could become a good 3&D POA guy. Hardy never will. It’s an easy decision for me, go with the guy that has a higher ceiling.
