I think he is having to get used to his new physique. He definitely needs some training staff upgrades. I actually think we'll be able to cut his minutes this year due to actually having a bench.

A petition filed by Luka Doncic's ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, in the Superior Court of Los Angeles in March -- with a pending court date scheduled for Aug. 14 -- was withdrawn by Goltes.

The petition that was seeking child support and attorney fees from Doncic, sources familiar with the situation told ESPN, required Goltes to submit a responsive pleading by Monday ahead of the court date.

"I am withdrawing my petition for child support with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children," Goltes stated in the responsive plea, which was first obtained by TMZ.

It's a defacto relationship, so she's trying to get her share of the time they were together.

This never ends well, if I was Luka, I would give her the money in return for 50/50 rights to the kids. He'll make a billion dollars in the next 10 years, but he can't get that time back.

 

Yes, time that is absolutely priceless.

 

I feel really bad for Luka. He seems like a genuinely good guy and I cannot imagine him being a bad or disinterested father. As a father of 2 myself, I could not deal with something like that. Just awful, awful stuff to have to go through.

Unless he did something terrible, I also find it pretty despicable of her to try to limit his time with his kids. It's not only hard on him but her children as well. What kind of a person does stuff like this just to get more money? Ugh.

 

They met as children, some nefarious lawyer has her ear…
