He's fast. He simply outran anyone trying to foul him. It's odd: He shot 17% from the line in summer league. But look at his college numbers How do you go from 64% to 17%... what happened? Did he hire Lethal Shooter?
Lol ridiculous. Carr was a lock at 1st team and Adou had a good case for 2nd. Lakers hate is real But I like it, chip on the shoulder for them. Make them regret it
I mean, I get it... but it's also Summer League. Carr should feel slighted if he doesn't make the rookie team for the season maybe. But no one looks back and says wow, he was first team all summer league.
Yeah absolutely, it will be irrelevant in their careers and by the year end they won't even remember. But I think it stings right now for them. We as humans always feel what's right in front of us and they just got drafted and this is their first show in the league, so it matters a bit more right now. And these guys use everything for motivation, so I think it will have some good effect on Carr to kill it in the gym the next 2 months and come gunning. Hope Adou too and in the first game of the season screams "McNeeley over ME?? " after breaking the rim with a crazy dunk
We can only hope. The athleticism on these two is mind boggling stuff. I felt pretty athletic in my day, I just can’t comprehend what it would feel like to get that high and be that explosive. Wild stuff!
Did anyone see a report of which Lakers were at the Vegas “mini camp”? Did they actually get together informally and play a little off season hoops like James used to organize closer to actual camp time?
I think it was Kessler who mentioned it during his interview during the summer league game he was courtside for. Odd that none of the reporters dug into that for more info after the fact though. Not sure who all was there, we know Luka was not based on his IG posts from out of the country.
