I think Mamu starts at the 4 and plays backup 5. Looney probably plays a stint each half to balance the minutes.

Our offensive model will be heavily based on Luka/Kessler P&R. If teams close the paint, a 3 is open and Kessler is well positioned for the off reb. If they defend the 3, easy dunk. If they stay in between, a more contested 3 or mid J and Kessler is there for the reb.
Kessler is an elite offensive rebounder and I think we will chuck 3s like never before. It's JJ model, we saw it when he started. Then he started to adjust to the personnel. Now it's the 1st time he hand picked each of the players in the core rotation.

Vando/Thiero will play when Mamu is at the 5. I think we will always have four 3-pt threats on the floor.
    Let's see if it works

I still expect us to do something, but at a certain point I wonder if that's wishful thinking.

I could just as likely see a scenario where Rob announces a press conference next week and this is him revealing his plans for our starting wing to the fanbase:

I think that's Rob's vision; there isn't much difference, between Ham and Redick with the 5 out preference. It goes back to AD at 5 and Frank wanting him to shoot 5-6 3's a game.

Maaaaan I hope you’re right, because there have been multiple seasons under this FO where we have said “This can’t be it, right? One more move is coming, it has to be right?”, but then no, nothing was coming, that was indeed it. In this case I too will be surprised if nothing else happens though, like nothing at all, at the very least you’d think we sign someone like Ziaire Williams to a vet min, a low risk move to fill a need.

    Luka 30 points
    Reaves 25 points
    Kessler 15 points

that's 70 points already if those 3 are healthy

I think we need to be mindful of signing a guy like Kuminga who feels like he needs a lot of touches to show his value as an offensive talent. He's not ready at his age to accept a role of a 2 way player/defensive stopper/part time offense. There are better fits for less.

That position we need rebounds and defense more than we need points. I like the young players we have in the funnel, and would be happy to develop Adou/Kuluma/Mamu and sign a defensive stalwart. That doesn't need to be a 10mil+ guy in my opinion.

Get these young guys some meaningful minutes!
