Good write up by Jovan. I’m probably more negative than him in the present and future.

I think Kessler isn’t too far above Smart’s talent and impact from last year. Obviously he is a better long term piece. And we have no way of replacing LeBron’s top end talent. So we’ve taken a clear step backwards.

Looking into the future? How do we improve? Once our fodder expires, we don’t have cap space and can only really add to the team with yearly exceptions or trading away pieces.

So you would of gambled on an injury prone player, a disgruntled 42 year old, a journey man, Ayton who voiced about his role?

The only thing i dont like is Austin at 46mil and the picks for Walker. Other than that they got noting to lose. Last years team were not going to win the title anyway. I for one dont get caught up in a month of motivational basketball. The test was going to be in the playoffs. And the way i saw it they were not going to be physical enough.

Really? But he’s “mad” about Oubre simply for suggesting he’d rather have spent Sexton’s money on him. That’s what that means right? Stating that you’d have preferred to have gone a different direction means you’re mad?

Not much of a market for Lebron at this point. I dont think it hit him yet that he will be making 42 in December. Any team he joins he need to accept a reduce role. At this point he is at that stage of Shaq when he was clinging to Cavs, Boston etc. Yes he can still look like prime Lebron at times but it depends on what the goal is. Spurs for winning, Cavs to retire, GSW to try and give it one last shot. For Lebron at 42 teams wont care what you did last year. Each year is now ???

If Lebron was smart he was to ask for a trade so he could have gotten more money. Waiting until the very end was bad of him and Paul. Rather than complaining about Austin should have read the room earlier at the deadline.

    He should go the Flippers.
That would be the perfect ending to his career.

I don’t know whether you jsut hate Lebron or you are detached from reality. Lebron is going to go to a contender and most likely put them over the top. Someone is getting a top 20 player for the minimum.

Like the spurs are a Lebron away from winning 2 rings. That team would be ridiculous. If he goes to the Knicks? OKC? Rockets? All of them are instant favorites.

Ok you do know when you add a player it changes the dynamic of a team right? He have to go in as a vet not prime James. He cant go in there trying to take over. Its not hate its reality he is turning 42, Its the same way Spurs sat Harrison Barns vs trying for him to turn the clock back. He hs to fit in not the other way around. Those days are gone.

Yeah, I honestly don’t care where he goes.
    I don’t “hate” the guy.
I just hate how he came in here expecting everyone to bow down to him and his exhausting, controlling ways.

    1.) Kuminga 2.) Kenrich Williams 3.) Thybulle.

Cranjis mentioned Williams. Forgot he is a UFA, but he'd works. Or just sign 2 minimums Thybulle & another "wing stopper".

    Kind of what I'm thinking.

Yo LeBron is a huge amount of stats we’re missing 24 points 7 assists 5 rebounds that’s alot. His ability as a scorer to get to the basket. His skill as an additional play maker. Using him as a Draymond Green was a f***ing cheat code. You can’t ignore that.

We got Kessler the Center but not having LeBron where is that coming from? Where do you pick that up??? We shift to a Luka offense where it’s shooters and roll. But Lebron was incredible what he provided for us.

not really sure what you mean.

me saying people are clearly mad today shouldn't be some sort of revelation. read the room. it's been non-stop fury for like, 12 straight hours.

my only reference to oubre was that i thought ziaire williams was an analogous player who was still available at a lower price, so people who were griping about not getting him might be happy if we got williams. and people have been griping.

I am not trying to tell You Lebron sucks. He can still dial it back. That is not my argument. My argument is yes he may be the best individual but for me it does not matter if when healthy i dont need that from you. You cant get me all the way to the finals. When healthy i am asking you not to try to take over games. So i dont need you to play that version because that way hurts the team when healthy. I am trying to put it in a way where to much of the same thing is bad. I got Duncan i may prefer Horry over Karl Malone. Even if Karl Malone can take up slack if Duncan gets injured he cant fill the need of Horry ability to step out at the 3. I dont know if i explained that well. Lebron is not physical. So a lesser player can fill a need if more physical. Its Like asking Bosh not to be Bosh and be Rodman. Love asking Love not to be Love. Only time Bosh needs to turn into Bosh is if Lebron is injured. And if Lebron is injured guess what? no ring even if Bosh wins a round vs an injured team .
