He was one of the cheaper options the twitter'verse had in mind for us. So that's a bummer.

A lot of these players signing for less than I thought they would. I hope the case is the same for us.

It sounds like Houston might renounce Eason, depending on whether they give Smart the MLE or TPMLE. If Smart only gets the TPMLE, they could afford to also sing Eason for up to around 25 million. If Smart gets part or all of the MLE, it would be really though to keep Eason, unless he signs in the single digits. It's nice to see all of these player cooroperating with their team's.

Players signing for less is a sign of teams having no room for guys looking big contracts. Teams are trying to play it safe. The biggest contracts this offseason will be Trey Young and Austin. Two contracts that will difficult to move unless it's one high or bad contract for the next.

I get it but DA is not it. I want Jax as a backup and a starter with "fire", that is not alergic to rebounds and doesn't score 8pts every other game :(

Don’t worry, Irwin says he’s talked to sources from multiple teams and they all say we are floating out Vando, Dalton, Ayton, and first round draft capital and asking what it will get us. That outstanding track package of playable NBA players is sure to net us a star. That, or it’ll lead to a new “you can’t sell a house nobody wants” sort of line.

The idea that we’re blindsided is funny. This has been telegraphed for like a full year.

ZERO f***ing chance we haven’t talked to LeBron about our different plans this off season and how he might fit into them, depending on his preferences. Go find the chair blocking the door so Deandre Jordan can’t get out of the house, Chris Hayes.

Yeah I don’t think we’re blindsided, I think we want Bron gone, I just hope they have a plan to replace him.

With Bron gone I like John Collins. He'd also provide an alternative for a small ball 5 lineup
