    The only bigs left can't help us for 2-3 years or have a low ceiling. I wanted a big to develop, but given what was available, I'd much rather take a chance on a young, athletic wing that can shoot. Wasn't my top choice when the night started, but he has a high ceiling. This was the right pick and we only had to give up cash to move up and get him.

    Love it Love this Kid!!!!!!!!!! He was on my list. This couldn’t have went any better.

    I saw him at the draft. Combine and feel in love. He was dominating the 1-1 he was dominating the 5-5 scrimmages getting 20 points. And I was like who’s that. Ability to shoot anywhere. And athletic. Competes. Perfect next to Luka but we are building our bench. We gotta add on to what we have. This guy has tremendous upside and he has tremendous athleticism.

    I've seen Vassell as a comp for Carr due to the shooting, athletic tools and penchant for shot blocking as a guard/wing. We could absolutely use a player like that.

    lol, was reading my comments from early in the draft process, and i agree with me: whoever we took here wasn't going to be playing next year. take the BPA. to me, that was carr. may not pan out, but the upside is too high and the theoretical fit too good to pass on, imo.
