I watched Pau also got killed by Boston the first Season? Whats your point? Following the 2008 NBA Finals, Pau Gasol faced significant criticism from fans and media who perceived his play as "soft" against the Boston C Bags, leading to calls for his trade. Despite his critical role in bringing the Lakers to that series and subsequent titles, physical play in the 2008 finals ignited persistent trade rumors and negative media narratives around him. ......i Never said he did not struggle. Defensively, the Knicks stifled De'Aaron Fox by packing the paint, daring him to settle for three-pointers, and deploying OG Anunoby to aggressively defend him

Fox still ran the team better than anyone else on the Spurs, before he came back from his injury, they were getting 20+ turnovers a game, he calmed them down and averaged more assists than the other guys, I think. I am not dumping on him, he was coming off an injury and was clearly NOT at the top of his game. He did make a couple of mistakes and that shot definitely hurt them but this is something you hope he learns from.

I sure did. They still got him for nothing. But that was before he played like a bum in the playoffs which he did. Maybe theres a team who wants him. Brooklyn Orlando. I don’t know. I don’t see it not at that money. I don’t think he’s a max player.

Yeah man you right. He did calm them down. Especially in that 29 point meltdown where he proceeded to turn the ball over 5 times and threw the ball across half court for the turnover and then layed the ball up instead of dribbling out the clock out.

He did all that but when they needed him he couldn’t do that. A job a Chris Paul could’ve done just steadied the ship. And get them to shore. Even a Kyle Lowry. See veteran presence is just calming everybody down getting them into their right spots. He wasn’t doing that what a true point guard is supposed to do.

once again, too much focus on small samples of guys playing injured, imo.

agree with wino that the spurs looked pretty lost when they relied on castle or even harper to run the offense. harper could get his, but not enough to really frighten the opposition because he doesn't have a pull up three, and castle just isn't a pg and isn't trending that way, imo. spurs need a real pg with wemby, and i'm not sure it would be easy to upgrade on fox.
