is there any credible source of trade rumours at all these days?

seems like all the websites I see on Facebook are clickbait made-up trade ideas

I don't think that exists anymore in the current media landscape.

You have tons of people wanting to get clicks, followers, engagement and will create narratives and stories in their pages and hope one sticks and gets them over the line

On the other side you have the trusted sources and insiders that are now used by agents and teams to convey a certain message/narrative in exchange for straight money or access to some exclusive content down the line/remain in good graces with a certain agent or team

My rule of thumb is pretty much disregard everything I read and I only start thinking it's something real if multiple sources start to talk about it

I don’t mind the New Orleans trade, but I’m not sold on Missi, he’s young and blocks shots. But his rim protection isn’t so good and he is a below league average scorer at the basket.

Hayes is better now and still only 25. I’m not sure Missi becomes better in any significant way.

I also don’t think Herb is as good as he was a few years ago. Herb is going to be 28 and I’m not sure if he is as good a POA defender as he was, he was never a big wing defender. Herb is still a defensive standout but offensively he offers you nothing.

Trey Murphy is a great shooter and tertiary scorer though. But does the trade put us over the top? Because we have no moves left after it.

Cmon man, that trade is a robbery to NOLA. We get 2 starting caliber players for Vando, Knecht and Jake. That's crazy lopsided. Then you can even out Missi-Adou as 2 young guys with some ceiling and untapped potential.
I don't think that trade ever happens but to say we wouldn't do it from our side is wild.

You're really down on Herb and Missi to say you wouldn't even do that one.

I think they both might surprise if they end up here ;)

I think Missi is Hayes, and I think Herb is only a bit better defensively than Vando but his contract is rough - if he is a Vando on offense you’re paying him 22-25m from 27’ onwards - which would be bad.

So we’re sending 3 first round picks for Murphy - who I like, but after that we’re out of ways to improve.

What does that mean Gianni’s’ stance hasn’t changed? From what? He’s been wishy washy all along.
