Fair enough. It’s probably the asset management part of it all that I’m most upset when it comes to “development.”
Yes, we have traded away nearly every young piece to date in favor of “established stars.”
    AD panned out(mostly).
Westbrick deal set us back at least five years.
We all have outlined how the Caruso blunder and even to a lesser extend, the Goodwin one have costs us dearly.
My overall point is that Rob/Jeanie have been excellent at the top end stuff, but missed severely on the lower end stuff which equates to not enough depth.
We know that the roster has been unbalanced since the Luka trade, but better asset management before this trade would have given us more options to add the right pieces. This has lead us to the point of every summer becoming “Rob better hit it out of the park this summer or we won’t have enough” over and over again.
Anyway, I’m happy we are finally adding more additions to the FO because it’s been long overdue.
It’s still going to take several more seasons to be able to create a deep team around Luka and AR.

Proud of them in this one. In the rest of the series, we got worked in the final 18 minutes (roughly) in every single game.

Tonight we gave them our very best until the very end. Rui, Austin, and Jax all brought it in the second half.

Great job JJ. We have an evaluation of what we've got and what we need. They're beatable.

lmao. There's nothing to be proud; we got fu**ing swept at our house.

Luka and Austin have injury concerns. Austin struggled much of the time and still had 8 TO's. Ayton and Hayes were most unplayable the whole f***** series. LaRavia was out of the rotation.

This is NOTHING to be pround of; f*** most of this team and go build a real f****** team, Pelinka.

Gloves off now that is the season is over, ad IDGAF. Put me on ignore if you don't like it.

It's on now. Rob go do your f******* job.

Lost to the best team in the league by a mile. Their bench is better than 15 teams. We're without our best player. Austin still isn't up to speed. The front office didn't believe or invest in this team this year.

    Not sure what you expected.

If you thought this was going to go any other way, this was the first game you saw this year.

We made it out of the first round. There was growth by JJ. Bron battled father time and won. We went the distance in this and proved they're not invincible if we're locked and loaded next year.

Of course I expected this, but it doesn't mean I'll settle for this every season.

Sorry, and I'm pissed. If you don't like it, put me on ignore.

Austin still isn't up to speed? F that and all the excuses. Give me a f****** break.

F that. s*** is on and gloves are off.

Hachimura played his a** off. He has to be back. 4 year deal. Austin definitely come back. I thought they played great.

We saw all sides of Marcus smart. So bring him back.

    Bring hayes back.

if Luka plays we probably win that game by 10.

We have to keep him on the court. That’s what the team has to focus on.

Get Thiero on the court. He needs to shoot 1,000 jump shots a day.

    see you at training camp.

Cheap bargain barrell Kuzma Ellis Simmons

    expensive and needed Watson Eason

    absolute trade Nic Claxton.

Game 4 loss was brutal, no two ways about it. Team fell way down and came back to go up in the 3rd and exchanges punches until the end.

When Rui hit that 4 point play I actually thought we might win this one and it would be the only one, but at least it would be one. But it wasn't to be.

I hope the FO knows what they need. And knows how to get it.

Now we wait to see what the 41 year old says about his future.

    Frikkin' rough loss, man.

Rob made this a gap year before the opening tip.

We went on a crazy March and if Luka didn't get hurt, maybe this goes 6.

I hate the outcome. But you can't be so livid over what Ray Charles could've seen coming. Fan how you want to fan, but we knew what it was this year. When your deadline move is only Luke that is all you need to know.

This gives us information going into the biggest summer we've had in a very long time.

There's a lot of information to pull from this post-season that can help Mark and Rob make the best decisions possible this off season.

I understand the frustration of @VladeD714 , Lakers are far from being real contenders and Pelinka shouldn't be the guy in charge trying to bring them closer this summer .

We fought till the end, wasn't happy with about 5 or 6 turnovers that I thought were unfortunate. I know alot of people are disappointed, but I thought we were really competitive and with Luka back I'm positive we'd take them to the brink. I don't agree we are that far away, and I think OKC are going to lose a few pieces this offseason.

I think we have a real bench here. Rui, Smart, Kennard & Hayes have all contributed these playoffs in significant ways. We have Luka and we have to figure out what to do with Lebron and Reaves.

It's bad timing ,we"re a good team but OKC and Spurs are just deeper , younger and better .. AND Pelinka can't build an adequate roster

OKC's cap is a real disaster. They're going to have to let Dort & Kenrich go and probably one more guy like Aaron Wiggins or Isaiah Joe, while resigning Hartenstein for a lower amount. So that's Dort & Isaiah Joe this offseason.

Next year, they're going to be over the cap with just 4 players and have to resign Cason Wallace. They'll lose Wallace then.

And then they'll lose Ajay Mitchell the following year.

Spurs aren't too far behind. Next offseason they have to pay Wemby the max and resign Champagnie & Keldon Johnson. The following season they have Castle coming for the max and they'll have to start cannibalising their team.

This feels like 1995 the Nick Van Excel Eddie Jones Cedric Ceballos Team Elden Campbell and Vlade Divac. And Magic.

We got Reaves Lebron our OG Magic and Luka and Hachimura.

just like 1995 we can’t compete with the upper echelon.

The summer of 96 changed our franchise. We got some kid named Kobe and the big fella.

So this summer will tell a lot.

Are we going to get the Franchise changer or are we going to wait for bigger game.

    I don’t know who’s coming back.

Austin should be back as for Rui and Marcus,

Lebron can still play 2 year deal with a player opt out after next season sounds just about right.

We’ve discussed so many players but I think the most important thing this team needs to lean into is player development. Front office and scouting.

Rob needs to oversee a player personnel deportment. Key word oversee. We need to overhaul our who player development department.

Scouting and scouting. The draft will be huge. Let’s try for Peyton Watson.

Luka should take an extended rest away from basketball heal and get well. We don’t have the luxury of just waiting for it to happen.

What OKC did to us was eye opening. They were young quick explosive and powerful.

Speed we need it. And we need to identify and find it. The New NBA needs to be purple and goal. Batter up Mark.

We did about as well as we could;without a top 5 MVP caliber player. I'm not down in the dumps over this effort.
