It seems I underrated the stench of the Rockets offense, but wow, our defense was incredible.

just winning this series without luka and reaves for a few games makes me happy. we all know they're not getting past OKC

 

We were supposed to get swept without Luka and Reaves. I expect we'll shock the world and win a few in the next series. Then go into the summer wondering, what might have been possible with a full squad.

I actually low key liked this Rockets Team until this Series, but they're just a bunch of punks.
Sengun is constantly throwing elbows & complaining. & this stunt by Thompson in Game 6 was one of the dirtiest plays I've seen.

honestly, i don't think thompson or sengun are punks or dirty players. thompson let his emotions get the better of him there, but that's not a habitual thing. no place for it, but i consider it a one-off for now (not a recidivist like dort). and sengun just bangs and leads with bows like an old school post player. to me, it's on the refs to call him for it. i don't think he's trying to hurt people; he's trying to use one of his advantages (bulk/lower body strength). jokic does exactly the same stuff, to a greater degree, tbh. and nobody calls him dirty (jokic is actually a little dirty, tbh, takes lots of random cheapshots during games).

the only guys on houston that seemed maybe a bit dirty to me were tate and mayyyybe okogie. the other guys just play physical, imo.

udoka's a punk, though. i just don't like that guy. his whole persona is a turnoff for me, and i'm guessing it will wear very thin on players over time. alpha dog coach stuff is lame.
