Whatever happens from here on out is gravy, we had no business winning that first round, nobody picked us. Actually I think one guy picked us and then changed his vote, Spears. If we got one game from them I’d be impressed. I am not looking forward to watching SGA play that thing he calls basketball though.
Lakers got nothing to lose and I f***ing hate OKC. I hope Shai hurts his legs when tries to contort for the flop
Yeah, it's all good. Not expecting anything much. If anything, it will show us how far we have to go to get to where we want to go.
Tonight's games were a HUGE help Otherwise, tomorrow is a travel day and we're rolling the ball out on Sunday. We're going to get blitzed and our a** handed to us in a very brutal 4 game sweep, but this at least gives us the best chance to put forth the best version of our available roster that we can. But again the goal in this series is for the front office to evaluate what we have vs need. That's it.
Ayton needs to dominate Chet. Shai is going to average 35 this series. They have to stop everyone else. I would stick Smart on him and hope for the best. This might be a series where Vando should get more minutes to help double Shai and force others to score. Reaves needs to be lights out offensively. It's a tough ask but he's gotta be 25 points per game. LeBron's going to be 26/8/8 almost every game but I just think at his age, there are going to be 1-2 games where his body is just not there... The rest of the guys have to step up offensively including Kennard and Rui. Try to steal a game at OKC and this series changes drastically for the Lakers confidence. Win or lose, my main concern is Lu Dort. I swear to God this dirty sleazebag will try to injure someone when the games are getting close. You already know this idiot is going to run into Reaves and try to get him injured or trip LeBron and cause an ankle injury. If that happens, the Lakers should get Vando to start playing dirty on Shai as well. I just don't understand how the league knows this is happening and Lu Dort is still allowed to do it. With all this being said, I don't see the Lakers winning without Luka. OKC just has way too good of a defense and are deep as hell. It's going to take a herculean effort from the Lakers to pull this one out.
Yeah, there's nothing to lose at this point. At the very least we get to assess which players to keep and what type of players we need to get in order to hang with the big boys.
just happy to be here i think they can steal at least a game if everything clicks, but this one will probably be over fast. really not looking forward to SGA's foul baiting BS
