Rockets have been so bad when he sits in part because KD has missed two games, while FVV and Adams are out. They’ve jsut got nothing on the bench.

I’d say this is a pretty bad look for Tari Eason too, he can get all the usage in the world this series and outside of one hot game, he kind of just looks ok?

I read somewhere they’ll start all series when all the 1st round games are finished so extending this series by losing doesn’t matter

Call Metta back for the OKC series so he can "Harden'd" Lu Dort .

    Somebody HAS to do it

Eason is a very good defender- maybe an upgrade over LaRavia due to his strength, but is very limited on offense as well.
If it’s for a fair price, I wouldn’t mind adding him and hoping that playing alongside three of the best passers in the game would increase his output.

    Eat that Sir Charles!
So happy that this is being done to one of the biggest Laker Hater’s former team.

close this s*** out tonight. don't let the rockets even hang around

they're not getting past OKC, but even winning this series without luka and reaves would feel so good. a sweep would be even sweeter

I doubt anyone is checking in on him if he's not been on the bench with them and doing his rehab somewhere else. Still listed as questionable today, same as AR just checked.

I would probably keep AR out. If we win, next series probably only starts next weekend so it's not like he will get much rhythm from today.
If we lose, we'll see next one, but I don't see a need to speed up AR return considering this current context

And yeah, go for the jugular and sweep them

I might be tempted to play AR ona minutes restriction say something really low 20 minutes or something like that just to get his legs and timing a refresher before the next series

Plus I really have no idea if Lebron has anything for this game in the tank

I think Austin should play. I don’t like going from practice to a Game 1 on the road against OKC. This game up 3-0 against a Houston team with no KD maybe ready to hop on a flight to Cancun could be a good in between step.

BS. He had NINE turnovers. IME called him out in private. Then KD got a boo-boo ankle AND didn’t show up on the bench. He is pouting and quitting on his team. IMO

AR should play if he can. He has always been a slow starter after injuries. Just give him 12 mins.

Austin should probably see limited minutes if he feels good during shootaround. It won’t do much for his conditioning or rhythm, but there’s no better gauge than live NBA game speed. At least it gives the team a clear read on where he stands, no? Something like 15 to 20 minutes off the bench feels about right.
