He's not on the one sheet. Their social media department know something we don't about tonight's game?

 

Hard to see KD sitting this one out, if he does that injury is more serious than reported. My brother seems to be very confident in his return tonight...we'll see.

 

It was hard to see KD sitting Game 1 out, and we weee all surprised he did, even with him being listed as questionable earlier. We don't know much about his injury. Like everybody else, I'm expecting him back tonight, but we were all expecting him to play Game 1 as well. There's no reason for anyone to have confidence besides himself and team personnel, depending on what they know.

Have to survive the inevitable shooting regression plus Durant coming back. This is going to be a significantly tougher game 2

I think you have to maybe swith the offensive focus and really put KD into some of these offensive actions. Sengun/Reed are very tempting of course, but the Rockets are expecting that. With his injury, you have to make him work those legs and wear him out. Plus, its not something the Rockets typically prep for

My assumption is this is going to be hard to win - Lakers shot well above expected FG% and Rockets below, they have Durant coming back, and the lakers outside James and maybe Smart need other players to play above their head (Luke, Rui, Ayton). That being said if Ayton and Luke continue to play like guys who can handle a bigger role and they can get this one that might just break the Rockets mentally. This is the game I think James is going to have to be ready to fire away and pull one of those I'm bring out the Silencer type of runs

 

The firecrackers don't want to go down 0-2, I expect them to come to play tonight. It will probably get chippy at some point. We need to hit our free throws!

 

We're getting beat by 20 tonight.

 

I doubt that, but if I was them, I'd be looking to go all out and attack LeBron. He's 41, I'm in his chest full court, I'm trapping him at every opportunity, I'm rotating guys onto him just to hack him, and burn a few fouls, it's the playoffs, the refs aren't calling everything. My mission would be to make someone else beat me...not LeBron James. Our HC should be EXPECTING that, and has a counter in mind. We'll see
