Maybe. Or competitor that JJ is maybe he was saying hold my beer he was going to do a better tandem “I’m king of the world” pairing with Gabe on the bow of Titanic than Darvin and Taurean?

Glimpses! Of what he can become in this league off the bench or whatever. The whatever for What If he keeps improving at the rapid pace year after year as his body and "body of skills" continue to get stronger and stronger ..... since the not impressive HS career and absolutely wrecked one and done college career. We got 5 days to kill before the playoffs. When you have the time, if interested.

I don't get not rooting for him, though to each their own fandom. But I absolutely question people's objective (without the LeBron / nepotism baggage) basketball observational skills .... who to this day claim as immutable fact there's zero chance he will ever be a rotational player in the NBA. Are you ******* serious?? The glimpses are all here at least on offense for all the skills. Defense needs the work even more than offense, but given what we've seen with the work ethic IMO there's zero reason his defense won't translate to at the least rotational minutes off the bench. 15 minutes here of his best NBA action highlights to date. I'm a fan and of course rooting for him. Level head, good kid, not a chest thumping look at me what I just did with that actually pretty spectacular play! Some of these passes especially.

You’re gonna see glimpses of despair soon enough if JJ puts him in a playoff game. You all better hope he doesn’t see the floor.

That could happen as it’s really too early for him to face that. Hasn’t even been in a rotation yet.

It was really cool to see father and son out there together in the playoffs!

LeBron raving about this in the post-game, and his mom getting to see her son and grandson in the same game in the playoffs, makes it clear yet again how much this means to him and motivates him. So although I and others hate how Bronny took up Goodwin's slot, if it means we get this LeBron, then it's worth it when Luka and Austin are out.

Next season when Luka and Austin are healthy though...I think I'd still rather have Watson + Ellis + Goodwin or better, than LeBron & Bronny.

Until the playoffs, where I'd take LeBron again if he's *this* LeBron and the LeBron of this past March. Lol.

So I can see why it will be a tough call this summer. LeBron, can't you make it easy on us and just re-sign for $10 mil? :giggle:

Yeah, keeping Smart to 34 min is one of JJ's better minutes managements. LeBron and Kennard at 38 is acceptable, but I don't want much more unless it's an elimination game or close to it. Rui at 42 in Game 1 is too much imo, especially when LaRavia only got 18. Jake deserves more, he was great.
