Bronny has grown but is still far from being a rotation player.
It was a bad decision for the roster to have him with that contract at the time, but it's part of the business and we got accept it.

But making the narrative like it will be worthy... it won't.
We lost depth at least 2 years in squads that needed extra bodies. It's unfortunate but we gotta move forward. But it's not like we lost a title because of that. We were never going to win regardless of Bronny.

Next year will be more important. We have more slots and we should have a deeper squad. If we can turn Maxi, Vando and Knecht slots into at least a couple rotation players, Bronny is a moot point.
In theory, spots 13 to 15 should be to development guys

I feel like having Bronny, Adou and another development guy is good for us like you said. It's really that 10-12 spots where we've made mistakes. If we slot everyone in:

    1: Luka
    2: Reaves
    3: Lebron
    4: Smart
    5: Ayton
    6: Kennard
    7: Rui
    8: Jake
    9: Hayes
    10: Vando (12m)
    11: Kleber (11m)
    12: Knecht (4m)
    13: Bronny
    14: Adou
    15: NSJ

We have 27 million in useless salary. If we could have turned that into a good player - like a Wiggins - we'd be much closer to contention and it would of switched everyone from Smart down one peg that makes us a legit 10 deep.

I also think we really missed out on Keon Ellis at the deadline. He would of been another small cap hold like Reaves that we could of utilised to build our team out with bird rights.

Man, Josh Hart is a dog. He plays SG-PF, gets you 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 stocks. Excellent role player, ironman who can play 40 mins a night. If Giannis goes to New York, I'd love to get Hart back as a throwaway.

EDIT: Ends the game with 10/13/5/3 with no plays called for him and took 8 shots. Just a great two way guy and an ultimate 5th starter that can do anything you need. Defend, rebound, score, handle.

I was all about Goodwin as alot of us were. The talk in the off season was how can we keep him while still brining in Smart? Smart was the last signing. I was the last Knect guy as I said he had a horrible summer league and Bronny had a better summer league than him. We knew Goodwin was better than Bronny and probably shouldve got that last roster spot. But what are you going to do??? His dad was our hall of fame player.

Bronny should have been waived to keep Goodwin, not Knecht. Let's be real, he has improved, but if we're trying to win a championship, there's no room for nepotism.

Well what yall gotta say???? Read the Post. What did I tell yall? I told yall Lakers would be getting this win. I think I had Lakers by 8. Lebron James ladies and gentleman. We spaced that ball around like I said. Luke Kennard. I told yall. He’s a beautiful ball handler and he can shoot. He ran offense and Lebron found everybody. And I told y’all Deandre Ayton would establish himself. Lebron and Ayton can do this.

Great job by Pelinka picking up Kennard at the trade deadline you have to give him credit.

We already had Gabe tho, after picking up Smart, JJ probably didn't view him as being that important. He didn't play him but a couple of minutes in the playoffs.

I'm up 3 straight my guy! All I need is one more win, and the worst I can do is break even! Don't let us win this series though!! My summer will be sweet regardless of what happens afterwards!

unfortunately, they're not going to shoot that well the rest of the series and the rockets aren't going to shoot that poorly

Well hopefully it will go like our 2 game series in Houston. We just need Luke Kennard to keep playing like Stephen Curry.

The rockets are an odd team, their offensive rebounds are correlated with them just not being a great shooting team. I think they'll obviously shoot better, but most likely they won't have 21 offensive rebounds when they do shoot better. So things should even out to a degree. Yes they may score more, but Lebron can also go off and take up the slack from maybe Ayton and Luke missing a few extra shots.

I think Ayton and Kennard playing like that balances out the absence of Luka and Reaves.

we actually play better. We look like the Warriors. Why can’t we always play like that??? We’re the best shooting team in the league statistically. The ball movement is incredible.

the ball movement when the ball is moving like that and we have balance we can beat anybody. OKC and San Antonio. Because you’re constantly moving Wembyama and Holmgren all over the court. You’re tiring them out they don’t know where the ball is going. Just keep moving it. And you play on a string and speed up tempo.

Houston can’t shoot with us. It’s a great matchup. Wemby might be the best player in the league but can they shoot with us.

OKC is the gold standard. But if they get cold and we get the other guys back like Luka and Reaves we can be a problem. The thing is playing like this OKC gets concerned because we look like them. Balance and depth. You can scout all you want but if Hachimura plays like that who’s beating us.
