Meh..Stern wouldn't have came down on s***. Not based off of this jazz. Pablo keeps milking his 5 minutes of fame here IMO. The problem is... all of these " new" allegations are actually old allegations...that were supposedly made, before the Aspiration CEO was even indicted..that makes you wonder how much of this was..".hey let me try and save my a** ," by throwing shade on something else. This stuff is being bandied about now, as if it was some kind of proven fact, but you'll notice...there is absolutely no comments at all...anywhere...about any of that being confirmed.
So you’re willing to believe employees are “throwing shade” to save their a** with as you say, no proof but not willing to believe they are telling the truth with the same document. Where’s your proof? Which is more believable? A company paying a spokesman 28 million who they NEVER ANNOUNCE. Having that same person do NO WORK and paying him more than Drake, Leo and other big names that ACTUALLY did work. Or there’s something fishy going on here? I’m done responding to you on this because it’s a waste of both our time.
Meh...It's a waste of our time.. because you already decided what it was; from the jump. You totally sidestepped what I said. This isn't new information, it was out there before the CEO ever got indicted. Which means that it was also out there; long before this Ballmer/Kwai story broke. You notice that this was absolutely NOT, a part of the CEO 's indictment? Why...because it was never substantiated! Why should I believe some people, that were engaged in a massive fraud? If you follow any of these type of stories, you see the rats abandoning ship ,and throwing blame everywhere, but on themselves and their roles. This is what happens, you'd have to be extremely naive to believe, that this dude pulled off all that s*** , without anyone else knowing what was going on. The Ballmer s*** was a minor piece of the fraud. Pablo is still trying to stay in the news. Only 1% of whistle blower accusations, ever result in SEC enforcement actions. So please stop throwing that junk out as some kind of statement of FACT. It is NOT. and the other 99% were sworn testimony too!
Silver is PATHETIC and an embarrassment with no backbone: Dude repeatedly beats the sh$t out of his girlfriend and gets to keep on representing the League. A different dude speaks his mind regarding his Faith and gets to be waived by his team with no repercussions by the NBA. Absolutely disgusting.
NBPA and a few agents got to check the raport... nothing wrong with what clippers, Aspiration and snake did. What a waste of time, pathetic really.
still think if the league says this was all ok, this could be GREAT for us. like you think we can't get aspiration type deals lined up left and right? looking forward to lebron, rui, smart, ayton, and kennard all re-upping on suspiciously team-friendly deals that allow us to make a godfather offer for watson (which will include its very own aspiration fringe benefits). dare the league to chris paul us again.
they'd have SO MUCH to answer for, and i think we might take more drastic action than we did in the cp situation. we played too nice with stern there, and it burned us for a long time. keep in mind that what they're saying is that you can invest in a company, who can then invest in your players without your players needing to do anything to justify this. it's bonkers, but that's the clear precedent.
Doesn’t seem like there’s much of anything happening in way of repercussions. Kawhi got to play the whole season and probably the playoffs. I think the further away we get from the breaking of the story, the less outrage there will be. And the less outrage at a slap on the wrist too. We’re on a laker message board and half the people don’t care, the general public cares about the cost of living, not Kawhi getting some extra millions.
Kawhii gets shuts down by whatever left of Draymond body: embarrasing All the nut glazing kawhii gets through the years by NBA pundits- wonder if they'll try to sweep under the rug just like his Bubble team
probably the end of the kawhi era nothing but a single WCF appearance to show for it after all the s*** they talked. streetlights over spotlights
Kawhi is going to get his contract ripped up this offseason from the league and he'll join the warriors.
how do the warriors swing it? kawhi ain't taking a cut, lol, and i don't see ballmer helping gs in any way. kawhi's got one year on that contract. guessing he'll want to rope-a-dope someone into an extension. i figured it would just be the clippers again, but some team out there may think they can pull a toronto. i just wonder if kawhi has the motivation to do that again. if so, some eastern conference team should definitely trade for him. if the clips had ANY draft capital to move, i'd actually think they could be a dark horse for giannis using kawhi (bucks get a year of possible contention and then salary relief). anyway, i actually expect leonard back with the clips next year, possibly with an extension in hand? last night's game must have been weird, btw--i watched the first quarter, and i thought curry looked like crap, then he left for the locker room and his team fell apart and went down double digits. i went to bed thinking the clips would smash them. he must have gotten some magic peptides or something.
