    Yes J Dub taking 25+injections in his wrist last season to win a ring ( and jeopardize the rest of his career) was a risk I could understand .

    Luka this season ? Not at all , Lakers are far from being favorites AND your 2nd best player is injured too .

    I picked Rockets in 6. I’d love to see us fight hard and get two wins. That’s about as optimistic as I can be without Luka and AR. I feel like Lebron, Smart, Ayton, Kennard and Rui/LaRavia can gut out a couple with the help of Hayes, Bronny, Thiero, Vando, Smith and maybe even Knecht. We have guys who can play although they haven’t gotten much burn over the season.

    I agree with everyone that Luka should not be rushing back. The one two punch of losing him and AR is too much and it’s not worth risking long term damage this season where we aren’t likely to beat OKC or the Spurs.

    He's been a great identity creator and tone setter for us. He's going to be big for us in these playoffs, even if it's a short run.

    I could see the Lakers pulling off an upset because of how inconsistent the Rockets have been. It really does not matter neither one of these teams can beat OKC in the second round.

    It does matter, there are no unbeatable teams. The way this series is stretched out we could have Luka back and possibly AR. Certainly an uphill battle but we have a better/healthier version of LeBron than we have seen in a long time. Smart is going to crank it for the playoffs and hold teammates accountable. Lakers aren't a gimme for anyone.
