Wallace does that to a lot of people. Heck they made Luka lose the ball 3 times on similar turnovers. Austin couldn’t throw a pass without it being picked off. It happens. Good learning curve if Bronny can improve from it.
Maybe not but this is the same JJ that wanted 10 Gabe’s and continued to play him when it was obvious he wasn’t the one.
I’m ok with Bronny getting a couple minutes here and there but I’d play Adou over him everyday and he gets basically no minutes.
and bufkin. i get that i'm the only person on bufkin island, but i think what cookie didn't say earlier about bronny/gabe parallels is jj's preference for tenure. this extends to adou/vando, too, as i'm not sure vando is really doing much these days to demonstrate value on the floor. he used to be a guy who really popped off the screen in terms of disruption on defense and hustle on the boards, and i think some of his added bulk has hurt his speed, which was his real asset. anyway, my suspicion is that he's playing ahead of thiero just because he's been around longer and is paid more. bronny's been around longer than smith or bufkin, and--let's face it--he is lebron's son.
I think it’s a fair point, but also not completely true. Adou has been injured for much of the season, so we’re asking him in the last 10 games to make an impact? Bufkin also doesn’t stand out to me in any way over Bronny. In fact Bronny pops out defensively due to his strength and speed. I also think Bronny is the better 3pt shooter.
We are not asking him to make an impact when he’s supposed to be A DEVELOPMENTAL PLAYER. You have to be on the floor for more than 10 minutes(mostly has been less than this) a game to DEVELOP. The fact remains that he’s been available for plenty of games in which he received DNPs or minuscule burn. JJ has zero interest in development and he absolutely lied to Laker Nation regarding this before he was hired.
