    Players will almost always want to play, it’s up to the staff to save them from themselves. And no the staff or medical team don’t always know best either, they work for Luka as well and want to fulfill his requests I’m sure, and teams often want players to go out there for ticket sales, tv views, the money. I see no benefit in Luka trying to come back from this, better to come back next season when we will hopefully have a deeper roster.

    my conspiracy theory was that he heard his deal might get voided, and he decided to re-prove himself in case he was in a contract year.

    I still doubt anything is going to happen with that, but I suspect that the Clippers told him, that he probably needs to start considering his " other options ", as to where he'll be playing ,after this contract runs out.

    Should happen to both the team for a penalty AND to Leonard. I understand where your skepticism comes from after you explained what happened to you a long time ago. Still it colors your perception in this case waay too much IMO. Where there's a whole sky of black fresh smoke there's a fire somewhere. And no I'm not going to debate with you on it.
