Sorry, Luka is the heart and soul of this team. We are nothing without him. He is 40%-50% of our total.

League won't rescind it if it becomes a he-said, she-said sorta situation.

I feel like the Lakers are in such a good spot right now that they have to continue winning just to keep that confidence going into the Playoffs. Even without Cade, beating the Pistons without Luka will be a good task for the Lakers.

Keep the streak going and ride it until the playoffs.

Bitadze, who understands the language, simply repeated the same phrase.

«If he thinks I said something superfluous or crossed the line, I apologize as a man. I can take responsibility, but I said nothing more than what he said. What he said, I don't think it's true. I know this is not true», – said Bitadze.

He also added: «I have a lot of respect for Luka and everything he has achieved. And I have a lot of respect for everyone's families. Where I come from, it's sacred, and we respect each other's families, and I would never say that directly. He just said inappropriate things in Serbian. I played in Serbia, I understand. I don't know if he knew I understood what he said. So I just repeated it

    Silver ,let them play
    Luka on historic run .
They already apologized to each other

This was for a couple of stretches during a game. Not for starting in other games over players. Lakers would do this with guys like Lue. You can try a younger guy on one of these players to throw a guy off. It’s not uncommon. Sometimes you want to give other teams different looks and get physical with them.

This is good news for Luka. I’m a Luka guy. Yall know it. But he’s gotta calm down and go easy on some of those technicals and jawing with players. We need him out there. I’m all for trash talk and I know it fuels him. But not for saying stuff that can get him kicked out of games. Cause I guarantee you coaches are telling their players say stuff to him crazy try to get him kicked out.

Bronny James never belongs in an NBA game. There isn't a logical explanation or discussion, ever.

At this point we are getting playoff scrimmages to mimic the talent we will see in playoffs and magnitude of games. We want everybody’s best because teams are trying to get playoff position now. At least the teams were playing.

then why’s he’s on the roster? This isn’t a charity case. Guys on that roster need to contribute to this team winning basketball games.

JJ doesn't really like playing the young guys as we've seen. I'd like to see Bufkin and Theiro a bit more, but as long as we are winning I can't see any of those guys getting any time.

If Bronny didn't have the nepotism cloud, he's turned himself into a very good prospect. He doesn't have these high volume scoring number like Bufkin in G league but he's basically really good at everything else. His defense, 3 point shooting, passing, all seem to check the right boxes.

He's got some things going for him - he's not tall but he's looks like he putting on even more mass so ideal world he's going to be one of these weird PG's like Lowry who you just can't move but he's also explosive. Too bad he's not close to 6'3" because the guy he kind of compares to physically si Baron Davis but Bronny just not as tall which hurts him at the NBA level from just getting minutes now

a consolidation trade or two to get us to luka/AR/three highly-paid starters could open the door by necessity for thiero and bufkin (and mayyybe even bronny) to get some chances at playing time next year (this is how it's happened in denver, for example). but yeah, not before that.

Yeah. I actually think Bronny has looked fine as a prospect and better than a few other prospects who have gone on to be contributors around the league.

Quite possibly. This is actually part of why I'm so staunch on the idea of the Lakers taking initiative to secure drafting a similar sort of Big to Kessler to become the Lakers' long term defensive anchor this summer, such as Aday Mara or Motiejus Krivas.

I suspect Mara is likely playing himself out of our reach in the draft during this March Madness, given how much attention he's getting as Michigan continues its campaign to try and get to the NCAA Finals. In contrast, Krivas seems to be largely flying under the radar by the media, despite Arizona also being on track to make a deep run and Krivas being a key piece contributing to that team's victories, so hopefully we can at least land Krivas if Mara gets drafted early.

Looks like the word is out on Krivas, I’m starting to see him mocked in the first round now.
