No surprise that Lakers are playing better and winning as soon as Luka picked up his game and started playing more like LUKA

Unreal game winner wish it was buzzer beater!!

he actually played a really bad game by his standards...but then came up big in the big moments. the more i watch him here, the more it's like watching kobe again in some ways.

Yes, both Luka and AR are killers and reminiscent of Kobe. There will be times where they're both clutch in the same game. They are already the best backcourt in the league, imo, and they'll eventually become the most feared too.

Those are crazy numbers, especially the rebounds, he’s been going after them. Hell he’s barely behind Ayton for the highest boards per game on the team at 8 to Ayton’s 8.3, that’s pretty great.

Please stop passing the ball out of the post to Rui or Smart when you got the turnaround. Shoot the ball Luka when you get inside

He is a complete player, the passing instincts of Magic, Deadeye shooting of Bird, and the rebounding weight of Barkley…

Now these guys are all playing their roles and there is no more confusion on the court. They have figured it out just in time for the playoffs. When I've mentioned that LeBron still wanted to be the man it was because he wasn't playing like this. He is deferring now and not getting in the way of Luka running the team. They are smart players so as long as the attitudes were right it was only a matter of time for them to figure it out. I don't know what happened to get them all on the same page but I'm digging it!

Amazing how he still manages to score 36 in a slugfest like this game.

He’s been so good. Yeah he takes some bad shots, but it’s like Kobe, you live with it

The guy is a savant. No other way to see it. It seriously looks like he isn't even trying. Mind boggling how easy basketball is for him against the best players on the planet and guys that are athletic freaks to boot.

Well, he seems to draw a lot of fouls on what appear to be marginal shots at best. While his FG % appears to be low at times, his eFG % is really high. The fouls really make his shooting better than it looks.

Doncic has averaged 37.8 points over the past six games. This is the most successful six-game streak in one season for any Lakers player since the Kobe Bryant (2011/12), when he average 39.5 points.

I’m going to counter with: Are there really any “bad shots” for Luka?
The dude literally makes shots from everywhere with guys draped all over him, just like Kobe used to.
I would rather see Luka take 35 footers than LaRavia a 10 footer(and I like Jake more than most).

Yes, I do think some of his shots are bad. There’s no need to come down and chuck a 35 footer at some points of a game when you’re as good as getting closer to the hoop as he is. I’m not saying they aren’t shots he can make, same with Kobe, but sometimes they’re chucks. Maybe sometimes it’s tired legs that leads to that, sometimes it’s supreme confidence, but no player is perfect.
