I’m good with it, coaches should be able to call out star players. JJ might not be the coach long-term, only time will tell, but it wouldn’t be because of that. It looked to me like he was telling Luka something he didn’t do, and then Luka got upset because he left him hanging. But they’re old teammates, I doubt it’s much.

I didn't see anything wrong either. That kind of stuff happens all the time with stars and coaches. It usually gets hashed out in film sessions from my understanding. When you have fierce competitors that's what you see.

His non stop complaining is getting old and is rubbing off on the rest of the team. That was very clear last night. Luka is the leader of the team. He has to be better. Plain and simple.

Luka Dončić dropping 44 vs the Indiana Pacers pushed him past some big names on the all-time scoring list:
    Passed Blake Griffin (14,513)
    Passed Bill Russell (14,522)
Now Luka sits at 14,535 career points.
The really wild part is the games played comparison:
    Luka: 501 games
    Bill Russell: 963 games
Paul Millsap is next with 14536 points

This team is so much better when LeBron isn't on the floor.

Even though he had a bad shooting night, he and AR were able to score enough to get the win.
    Winning player.

Too many 3s as often but solid game on the defensive game .. Should operate more from the mid posts but he prefers his step back 3s

so the word is that he's splitting with his fiancee?

that's a lot of upheaval in a year (getting traded, having a kid, essentially getting divorced).

That's the rumor but I haven't seen any real confirmation of it.

Definitely a tough stretch for him on a number of fronts.

...his defense has been solid the last several games IMO. That's huge for us. If he can just be solid and give good effort on that end it helps us immensely.

it was pretty good yesterday, for sure. the knicks went way out of their way to try to get him switched onto brunson a bunch early, but i thought that worked against them a bit and created a lack of flow. same when they tried to iso anunoby against luka (which was really unsuccessful, iirc). and then luka was really in the passing lanes on the defensive boards. those are the two areas in which he pretty consistently contributes on defense.

he had a couple lapses, but...so does almost everyone, it's just not as publicized.
