Yeah. He’s literally the only person who didn’t forget how to shoot once he got here. Definitely should try to keep him.
said in the other thread that i'm guessing we've already told him the room mle is his if he wants to stay. i'd sign him for 4 years if that's what it takes (my guess is we want three, though). but that does mean that every other acquisition must absolutely be a defender. we can only trot out so many guys that can't contain even bench players off the dribble.
One of the best players on the team already. I don't know if that says more about Kennard or the team.
It’s Luke and we should stop with the back handed compliments. Amazing that Rob turned Gabe Vincent and a 2nd round pick into him. Just taken on its own.
That’s always been Luke’s problem. He just doesn’t shoot enough. I’d much rather he shoots 38% on 10 attempts than 50% on 4.
Maybe but I'm more concerned, with being the 2nd worst rebounding team in the League. We do led the league in field goal pct tho.
I agree on the rebounding, not sure how much it’s impacting wins/losses but personally I like having a strong rebounding team. I mentioned it in the draft thread but I think late first early second rounders like Morez Johnson, Chineylu and Krivas could really help this team in 10-15 mins a night. Maybe we could buy that Nets pick at #34.
This is not good 2nd and 3rd chances make huge differences over the course of games on the offensive boards Defensively it stops their flow How many extra shots do we see given up just because we can't get the defensive board?
But to your old point Slick …. Tinkerbell choking with a bunch of bricks cost us a ring. Luke’s not that guy. 2nd best career % from 3 in history of the league. There’s a welcome place for him on the Lakers and taking him at his word he “gets” being a Laker.
