Jake is a starter out or necessity and roster makeup right now, but he’s not an NBA starter. Can’t blame him too much, this isn’t what we was signed for. We need to trade for or sign a legit starting 3, that just is what it is, there isn’t one on this team at this time. For the most part he’s been really good, but yeah nights like this are going to happen.

Has a propensity to dribble the ball off himself.. Had two makeable treys that he missed. Not that badly IMO.

This was one of the worst games I’ve seen him play since becoming a Laker. Flush it and move on.

He’s been pretty bad the last 10 games.23.5% from 3 and 68% at the line.I’ll give him the benefit of doubt of possibly having tired legs at this point in the season.Hopefully he finds his second wind soon.

Now that I’ve looked at his career stats I will say he probably does have tired legs .Its the most minutes he’s ever played on average and he had only started 6 games his entire career until the 30 he currently has started

Man those 3 missed wide open 3's in the fourth were really really rough.

You need to be able to hit those shots as that is what your offense is designed to generate. MIght as well play Vando if you're going to just brick those.

We desperately need to replace him as a starter and closer with someone better next year. Great bench player at his price, but his shooting is wayyyyyy too hot and cold to be closing games and be asked to hit big shots. Maybe he develops that in time and becomes more consistent, but as of now he’s not there.

Jake, come on buddy. Those 3’s were wide the hell open. You’re killing us with the bricks.

Hopefully Jake start playing better now as he's moved the bench. his advanced metrics took a nose-dive (and I think they were accurate TBH) since he became a starter. The shooting can't stay this bad

I'd play Vando over him. Another scrub that fooled us for a second...

It tickles me how Vando gets a short leash from JJ while this guy throws up brick after brick and still plays. He needs to lock himself in the gym and fix that broken jumper this summer.
