Really good trade by Rob. Trading Gabe for Kennard is the kind of around the margin moves that lead to success. Would be nice to keep him.
The advanced metrics favor over him any other Laker roleplayer lol. I think there is a definite window dressing - JJ has to protect him a lot so I'm not sure it's a more of a reflection how inconsistent the rest of the Lakers roleplayers have been him
We can’t get him more than 2 three point attempts? Like JJ can’t use the plays he was drawing up for Dalton the second he was drafted for Kennard?

Yeah this one boggles me. From the bits of the game I saw, defense was all over him but still, I can't understand how we aren't able to generate looks to the best % shooter of the league while having 2 of the best 10 playmakers in the history of the league. And if the defense is indeed all over him, how don't we use him more as a decoy? If you have a defense fully focusing on Kennard and then having to guard Luka/Bron/AR, any of those 3 or whoever is left needs to capitalize that and get open shots
my point is it’s been obvious whoever is guarding him has been instructed to run him off the 3 point line and don’t help off of him.Meanwhile Smart and Laravias guy is completely leaving them to help
