Game Debrief: What Went Right And What Went Wrong?

3 players who all do the same thing but aren't good defenders and all need the ball isn't a recipe for success.

For the Lakers to win games, 2/3 of the Lakers stars have to have an amazing game. Otherwise, it's a tough game that requires heroics.

Hoping for a play in exit so the new Management can be smacked in the face with their new ticket increase

 

Team is imploding. 3 straight winnable games down the toilet.

 

I'm steadily moving toward the tear it all down crowd.

 

We watch NBA games for a long time: we know that this kind of losses is typical of a team which has given up the current season.

This team does not work as constructed. This has been a consistent problem for what, 5 or 6 seasons in a row?

We can’t waste the Luka timeline. All options should definitely be on the table.

 

I agree, which is why a 208 minute sample size of a Luka/Austin pairing doesn't preclude me from any and all options. They're all on the table at this point, but I'm pissed off. This team lost two games in a row with Orlando & Phoenix missing 2 starters. It's ridiculous.

 

reaves is still off the table for practical reasons if nothing else. he's a UFA, folks.

and again, doom and gloom aside, luka/reaves is a good starting point, and we're basically not married to anything else.

I don't know about "good starting point", it's okay. Isn't ideal, but we really have no other options.

 

I don't anticipate us losing Reaves. I can't see the move involving him that makes sense honestly.

 

Ever since JJ got his new toy Kennard, Vando’s minutes had shrunk. Makes no sense not to have him to defend down the stretch. He’s just a horrible roster manager.
