Disagree the Clippers are well run. This is the same franchise that did a fake jersey retirement for Blake Griffin and traded him 6 months later. They signed CP3 this season for what was going to be his retirement tour and then sent him home. I would say these were their biggest name players they have outside of Kawhi and PG and that’s how they treated them. This doesn’t count that they have been investigated 3 separate times by the NBA recently for cap convention. Kawhi’s trainer sued the team for wrongful termination. aspiration, shareholders are suing Steve Ballmer. If that’s their vision, I’ll pass.
yeah, i just don't see great arguments for this claim at all. would not trade front offices with them. no way. you fail with those advantages, you should be unemployed.
By the way, why the f*** is there a clipper thread in the Lakers forum? Clippers barely belong in the NBA. Nothing Clippers, in any subject line, should be in the main Lakers forum.
It’s so we can laugh at them. Were you not laughing last night when the real Man of Glass had to leave the game for yet another injury?
Well, you are missing out then on enjoying every little failure that the Flippers endure. It didn’t have to be this way, but since Ballmer took over, they cast the die.
He ran up that giant LED Clippers graffiti all over LA Live and on billboards everywhere about street lights and Ramona’s BS in the media. Has anyone done a wellness check on Lee Jenkins lately? Dude sold his soul for Ballz’s big paychecks to have his talent become absolutely invisible.
Rumor from Kawakami today is there won't be much of a punishment for the Clippers and that any action from the league will primarily deal with Kawhi's contract.
if there's no real penalty for what the clips did, the flood gates are open, and contracts aren't real. i think that's actually great for us, as the biggest brand in a huge market with rich ownership. but it's going to work against pretty much everything silver has tried to accomplish re: parity, imo.
