Are you kidding me???? We had to play our whole starters in a 4th quarter and they couldn’t sit in a playoff game cause our bench was so bad. Our guys were gassed.

We need bench players so when Luka or Reaves sits you got guys that can give us instant offense.

Yeah sometimes you can over think stuff..bucket getters are always useful..he's a bit wild to be someone's main guy or maybe even 3rd option, but we could use him IMO.

yeah, this CLEARLY violates the spirit of the rules that stopped this a while back. curious to see how the league responds, as i can see ways to exploit this (e.g., restructuring some three team deals as separate trades when possible).

That Rockets situation is starting to get weird. Udoka took a shot at Sengun for his defense after the game too. Teams are putting their centers on Amen and shutting down their halfcourt offense. The vibes from last year's team are way down.

 

rockets don't worry me as much as they did earlier in the season

and they didn't do anything at the deadline either

 

i haven't seen many of their games this year (maybe three?), but i was really confused when their offensive rating was so high (it's still top-5!).

they regularly had two non-shooters on the floor, and were still scoring better than most teams.

 

The offensive rebounding has been a big part of it, which they're worse at now without Adams. But they had a game a couple of weeks ago against the Spurs that they were winning by like 10 at the half. But the Spurs put Wemby on Amen in the second half and completely neutered their offense, outscored them by like 20. They won a few games against bad teams after that, but have gotten blown out by the C Bags and Hornets at home in consecutive games.

They just seem really up and down despite the solid net rating. The Amen as a primary ballhandler thing has not worked out. Udoka doesn't want to play Sheppard too much because he's small and a weaker defender, but they frankly have to because they have no guard depth.

 

Why does that violate the spirit of the rule? He's not in control of the team releasing him.

They seem to understand how to play offense without the non shooters being a problem .
