Everyone in Game Time after missing first 2 shots, "this BUM sucks donkey ****s just like we knew he would". Til be buries a few, then "wheeeee". Rinse and repeat moment to moment.

I like this move. If there was no route to improve our weakness (defense), we can double down on our strength (offense).

And Luke is not a stationary shooter like Rui. His off-ball movement is elite. He's the type of shooter that runs around screens. If JJ can utilize him correctly, his gravity will open things up for Luka, Austin and Bron. These type of shooters also exhaust the opponent's stamina, which in turn helps our defense as well.

He's better than having Gabe on this team. You were actually rational sounding before the deadline knowing we didn't have much to work with, Lakers tax for sure and not expecting much, and acknowledging we were going to have to nail the off season. Now it's like you're off your meds again ranting about everything. Take it to WMC or better yet back to LG where you fit right in.

JJ "should" be the perfect coach for him considering that describes what HE did for a living in the NBA.

I actually think this time will be different. Even if his average drops 10% he’s still an elite shooter. Can’t play defense worth a s*** but we weren’t getting that player with the assets we had anyway.

Can't wait for his first night as a Laker going one for five from the 3-point line.

This is my hope. Again, he should get clean looks. Gotta hope he hits them.

Chalk me up for “his % dips 5% or less.”
    He is the chosen one.

Good signing. If he can shoot 40-45% from 3, run through screens, play a little D with 10+2+2 line - I am happy.

The biggest issue with Kennard is he doesn’t shoot enough to offset his defense. He needs to let that thing fly, 40% on 8 shots is better than 50% from 4.

Plenty of shots available if we can get our chuckers to lighten up a bit.

Yeah, JJ said similar in his postgame presser, said he wants him to shoot more. I’ve read some people saying he doesn’t shoot unless he’s open, so maybe that’s part of it, we’ll see I guess, still just glad Gabe is gone. I think that’s part of why we won last night, JJ couldn’t play Gabe and the bleeding didn’t get worse when we were down.
