He's got these guys flying on defense - Smart and Vando their a real ones they're going to do it but something different about the rest of these guys
Laravia is willing to sacrifice his body way more then the beginning of the year
Lebron is going all out at least in the 4th
    Rui looks completely different

He should get credit for this (still mad he didn't call a TO after the Lakers cut the Clippers lead to 2 - think they win that one if they gave the team a breather after that big comeback)

We got to make sure he's ok after dumping his safety blanket. Looking forward to what creativity is inspired by dumping that crutch.

BUT on the flip side we did get him a shooter. Maybe he can dust off that white board that he filled up on draft night for DK and put it to use on a real NBA player.

i'm actually wondering how he'll take it. it could be interpreted as a shot across the bow, tbh. rightfully so.

JJ being a shooter had to be excited about Knecht when we got him and how he came out of the gate, but then wound up frustrating him to no end with his slow mind for the game and then WEAK mind following the trade debacle. I would "think" he would welcome a tried and true pure shooter not only from catch and launch but also off the dribble. He ought to be smart enough to look at this as a positive. Plus we got AR back and all around D wise with his smarts, effort and size he has to be better than Gabe in the team D scheme of things. Doubt JJ is unhappy about this.

kennard's a dukie who plays a very similar role to the one jj played for years. he'll be fine with that and know how to use him.

i just wonder if he takes it as management removing a degree of freedom, purposefully.

    and maybe it wasn't.

but if it was, i support it.

And who cares seriously if he did take it that way. He's still learning when to call time outs to stop other teams momentum. Slowly it seems. And talked a big game about developing players but not a lot of that so far. Although Dalton has been given a s*** load of chances so far. I still have hope (silly me) that he may start shooting again. Since he's improved marginally in other aspects maybe he could even become useful at some point or in a trade this off season.
