feel like the knicks could get expiring money and a bunch of picks back for bridges/anunoby to separate teams, then throw all that at the bucks.

i'd bid on either (prefer bridges for us), though we don't have enough picks right now.

Based on nothing but my own intuition lol, I don't think the Knicks are going to trade both Bridges and Anunoby for Giannis. I think they're going to try and trade KAT for him, which won't work, and then fight tooth and nail to trade one of the two + Mitch for him. But yeah, unfortunately we don't have the ammo to get either.

yeah, i just can't see the bucks taking KAT or what a third team would give for KAT.

I said it the other day, but I really think the Knicks should pass on Giannis and just try to do KAT for AD. You keep your wing depth and sacrifice floor spacing, but you replace a 5 that gets destroyed defending P&Rs with Brunson with one of the best P&R defenders in recent memory. You have Robinson to help hold down the fort while AD is out. It's risky, but if AD is healthy for the playoffs they'd be my favorite to come out of the East. And for the Mavs, they can stay big like they apparently want to do but at least KAT can space the floor if he's playing the 4.

Two more "fragile a**es" to add to this year's list. So odd! Injuries just rarely ever happen in the NBA.

    Los Angeles Lakers

We can certainly dream of what an Antetokounmpo-Luka Doncic-LeBron James pairing could look like in the future. The Lakers have the expiring contracts to make the math work and can include Austin Reaves and their 2031 or 2032 unprotected first-round pick in a trade. But considering Reaves will likely command top dollar as a free agent, and the pick is at least five years out, it is difficult to see Milwaukee interested in what the Lakers could offer.

And even more "difficult" to imagine AR wants to re-up on a rebuilding team in FA this off season in cold a** winters Wisconsin.

I think if NY gets Giannis, a third team will get involved, who has picks. I think they'll offer KAT plus one of Bridges/OG.

Could very well be the Blazers who hold that 2029 unprotected FRP and 2028, 2030 swaps. I don't know how much Blazers would want KAT/Bridges for those Bucks picks, but those two could certainly add a lot to their team and fit pretty well.

If they fail on Giannis..Jrue Holiday to the Knicks is an interesting idea. I wonder who the Knicks would offer up in exchange.

The million dollar question with Giannis, is where does HE want to play?
