The “covering your body with tats” thing is due to an offended spirit.

the one thing that made me wonder if lavar wasn't actually all that bad was that the mom seemed nice. nice people don't put up with lavar ball in their house unless the lavar ball in your house isn't the lavar ball on tv.

My pops used to say, god rest his soul…….

Motorcycles are for future blood splatter.

Tattoos are for stupid decision makers.

Earrings are for West Hollywood residents.

Paraphrased all of that but you all get it.

Lakers go into POR w/o Luka, Jaxson/Ayton and lose 132-116. Lakers gave up 71 in the first half. We often give up 60+ in the first half, don't we?

Drew Timme gettin' 1st Q minutes. Got 29 mins out of Timme (rhymes with "gimme" as in "gimme the ball Imma get in the paint.") and the dude scored 21 on 9 for 12 shooting. His defense looks okay to me. 6'10" and 235, 237 with the sweaty old headband. Gawky white dude can play in the NBA. Maybe not for us, but...

Kobe Bufkin got 22 mins, scored 9.
Nick Smith played 10 mins, scored 5.
DK only got 5 mins, and hit the only 3 he attempted.
Marcus played his azz off: 25 points in 25 mins.

Maxi started at center. Talk about depletion!

Lakers were out-rebounded 42-27. Tells ya alot.

    What a lousy game, really.

If you told me that Smart and a two-way center would have carried us in a game this season then I would've assumed we locked up the division, season and all hope is lost, or we just traded half the roster. But here we are.

Kleber showed the most flashes of Dallas Kleber, it's usually weeks of play for him to hit that point total.

Unfortunately Jake and Gabe were bad offensively (at least Jake does other stuff). The defense was able to solely focus on Bron (still nearly got a triple double). 68 minutes were eaten up by non NBA players... so that's fun.

Tonight is going to be a blood bath unless we get some bodies back. Bron on night two of a back to back without help. Smart and Jake both got banged up against the Blazers, on the same possession so who knows their availability against Toronto.

Yeah, the injuries are piling up. I thought we could keep our heads above water during this stretch coming up if we were healthy, but it doesn't look good right now. We might be in the play-in after the grammy trip.

We just aren’t going to win when we are down so many starters.

    Good game from Smart.

Liked what I saw from Timme. Think Kobe has actually been solid.

    No more Gabe.

Gabe is awful. His only upside may be that he's an expiring, lol.

    Just awful.

I said it in game time as well, but it’s a shame Timme is 6’10 (if he even is), if he were just 3 inches taller he’d be on a roster. He’s got that back to the basket game a lot of bigs lack now, he’s a good passer, he hustles, he’s just too small for his position.

One thing that really jumped out to me, was the lack of an athletic ballhandler at the 3/4 spot. Jerami Grant would be excellent here in that role. Or Washington, Wiggins, maybe Herb Jones. Lebron shouldn't be the guy we rely on doing that. It's understood that we were missing Luka and Austin, but this is still a weakness moving forward whole IMO.

It's not just on offense, these type of players are also, are able to switch on P&R actions, and still hold their own on the man they switched onto. I really think this spot is more important than adding another guard in the backcourt.

Rui moved pretty well on offense last night to me, that's encouraging, the D and rebounding, is kinda what it is, at this point tho. We hurting a bit, but this team isn't trash..NO

We need to get healthy and a tweak at that 3/4 slot. BTW that 91 kid from Portland is exactly what we need Thiero to be..I'm keeping my eyes on that kid..he'd look good in Purple and Gold!

2nd round pick two years ago. these guys are just out there waiting to be found, several per year, often late first to mid-second round.

We got one this year hopefully. If he'd stop hurting his knees.

We can be patient brother..he has the tools we need, we don't need to mess things up, trying to rush him back. Man tho LT, Thiero and that 91 kid together? We'd have two mini OG Ananoby's..Artest like bruisers...ooooeeee I like that idea, Luka would love it!
