No way Minnesota is giving up Gobert to get Rui, especially when they already have McDaniels, Randle and Reid. Gobert is getting old but he's still extremely important to them. I think Randle or Reid will be the odd man out there.

 

minny's in a tough spot with conley not being up to full-time duty anymore and dillingham not being ready. problem is conley is better than most pgs available even now, lol.

Sadly I think Hornets don't want Knecht anymore after drafting Knueppel and Knecht tanking his value ever since. But who knows

I absolutely think there are deals out there we can get our hands on and upgrade our roster without breaking the bank. I'm not sure the core guys we need on the wings are available on the deadline though, but we can do marginal upgrades

There’s rumours that Atlanta is going to go in for AD by trading their expirings.

That’s a dangerous lineup defensively. Johnson, AD and Okongwu are legitimately terrifying as the front court and Daniels and NAW can really play aggressively against their man. Offensively it’s not too shabby either.

If Johnson takes another step forward, they’ll be at the top of the east for the next 2-3 years.

very worried about AD/okongwu frontcourt with johnson/dyson/naw backcourt on offense. like, worst in league bad.

dallas had that plan this year, and it went that way.

but yeah, one of the league's best defenses, for sure.

guessing that pick is off the table, or it would be protected. AD at his salary and age is probably not worth a top-5 pick in this year's draft.

zinger/kennard/risachier/a different first round pick is probably a fair deal. risachier is a young rotation-quality player with room to grow. you get a first and get off like, 50 million in salary next year? that's a pretty big win. you also move on from your weird frontcourt situation in dallas.

for atlanta...i don't know...i'm not sure i'd do it, tbh. but maybe getting traded twice will get AD to take his body prep more seriously and/or admit he's a center.

I liked AD to the Hawks more when they still had Trae tbh. Trae is an extremely flawed player, but is still pretty damn good at running P&R. I think AD needs someone like that for this stage of his career. I think that lineup above would be pretty bad offensively. They'd basically be trying to do what the Mavs are/were trying to do.

 

Lakers should trade Rui, Maxi, and two first rounders for MPJ.

 

Heck let’s throw in some 2nds too for the Godfather offer.
