We just need the king for bad teams. It's a win win. The Lakers kick some butt and the King crushes it in the stat sheet.

I really like Melton, I think he's a cheap and excellent 3&D. I thought we would of had a real shot at him and Horford - who I think would of been a really nice piece for that PF/C rotation as a two way player. If we got those two alongside Smart and LaRavia that would have been a huge upgrade to the bench and 4 rotation level players to mix with Luka, Lebron, Reaves and Rui.

Even if we didn't get Mark Williams, we would have had Rui, Kleber and Gabe + a 1st to try and make something happen. It is what it is, we did the best we could.

If he wins as the clear #2 or #3 guy, does he get the Kobe treatment like with Shaq?

Jordan had 6 rings as “The Guy”
Bron would have 5? But 4 as the guy and 1 as sidekick (If they treat him like they treated Kobe)

that’s what I was referring to

horford means no ayton. horford is probably better than ayton, but he's not able to play nearly as often. melton also missed most of the year so far. that's why i said i'm not sure we'd be better off. our record might be closer to gs's right now.

This is a bit unfair. He’s 41 in his 23rd season against a perennial MVP candidate…

    Recruiting?

I'm sure he can get them a Bryce Arizona jersey if they want.

    Wow.
That is a very embarrassing stat.
He at least has the rest of the season to improve it.

Drives me nuts when any players do this. We might have the two biggest ref complainers in the entire league smh

Well, he’s the King of failing at being clutch, as well as the King of complaining.

Lebron is still being reffed by the Shaq rules where contact that would make SGA act like he got hit by a tank only seemed to marginally impact him. Refs should adjust and ref him normally now

It’s the strength—he still has that. So hard to officiate really strong guys. Refs seem to settle on letting you get beat on but also letting you get away with stuff defensively (see jokic).

this doesn’t explain harden, of course. But nothing ever has.

They don’t like him because he’s constantly complaining. He’s never learned.
