You know, it’s sports, it’s a game, so not being the brightest bulb isn’t always a big deal, but in this case, yeah, it is an issue. He dominated in college because you can do that on pure skill more there, but this is the NBA, everyone is super skilled, it’s the best players in the world.

The word coming out of the draft was that it took him a bit to learn things. This is on Rob. While we all praised the pick, we aren't the ones interviewing the kid to see if he can understand a playbook. There should have been more due diligence done with this kid, but mistakes do happen, but you have to be extra cautious when you just drafted a bust previous to that in JHS. Now's he's at the end of the bench with really no value; hopefully we don't have to include a pick just to dump him like JHS. Just unbelievable.
at the time, we were getting killed for not drafting whitmore over jhs, so passing on knecht for someone else might have created a full-on fan revolt.
Might be one of the 5 dumbest players in the league. The IQ is not there. If you're dumb but have great talent, you can put blinders on -- Stevenson or JR. Dumber than a rock but could do some stuff. DK is shooter who can't shoot or understand what's in front of him on offense or defense.
