LOL... Jake was excellent. Wish for better offense, can't fault for effort and D.

weird that he hasn't found a rhythm with his three point shot here. i expected by now he'd figure out where the shots would come and start knocking them down at a higher clip. maybe the lineup fluctuations are the reason. i think he's a better shooter than 31% from three. if he just shoots like he did before getting here, he's looking like a great signing. though tbh, he's outperforming his 6 per on defense alone.

His D and hustle were great last night. He missed a couple chippies but he has some offensive skill. I still really like his signing.

Oh really? You don’t say. Team looks night and day on effort from earlier in the season. It’s not ALL effort, the roster is mediocre, but the effort is still bad

he had a pretty good game overall, imo. missed some wide open corner threes, which hurt. but his defense was pretty good. he just does what he's asked to do out there, imo. at his price tag, i'd love to have three more versions as my bench/support players at different positions.

I'm disappointed TBH. His offense just runs way too cold most games. Yeah every misses open shots but he's getting. Served up some wide open shots in a platter or he's fumbling the opportunity. He had a few open looks he couldn't capitalize because he just fumbled a good pass and messed up the rotation.

malik beasley confounds me. man, he should have feasted here. just completely forgot how to shoot for two months. immediately recovering upon exit.

this is why i'm always against trading for shooters here. trade for guys who have been s***ty shooters! they do better here! it's bizarro world!

Guys, it’s the pressure of the scorching hot bright lights.
Some guys thrive under it, and others wilt.
This is why I always am more excited about adding role players who have proven they can play good defense and occasionally go on a hot streak shooting the rock.
We blew it by letting Goodwin, along with several others before him, walk.
It’s almost as if some Franchises employ people who haven’t studied the history of the game: you can’t just build a great offensive team and expect to win it all.

I like his effort , he's definetely a (potential) winning role player , he just needs to hit shots on a better basis

I was a bit of a hater, i admit. I would still keep him over Rui though. If he could hit that 3 at a 40+% clip, we would be so much better...

He's more valuable than Rui because he plays defense, hustles, has great hands defensively, is one of two Lakers who will dive on the floor, and has been an elite rebounder for the SF position for us.

I'll take a Jake who can't shoot as a starter over Rui because Rui isn't a volume shooter. If he's shooting three 3s, it doesn't matter. He has to sustain 7 attempts a night for it to be worth him being out there.

    That's a hell of a revenge game

Perfectly encapsulates what he brings. Fight and (sneakily) fly.

He’s everything the Memphis fans who hated seeing him go said he was, a player that leaves it all out there every game. Pretty sure he’s one of those athletes (mindset and talent) Walter builds his teams with.

Is next year a TO, PO or no option … he’s just signed again?
