    20+ free throws!
    They brought victory.
What the league is being turned into... Floppers, and whiners get all the benefits. Normal players are at disadvantage

His three ball is way off. Last 10 games 27%.

awful in the first half. good thing he succeeded at foul baiting, because it would've been another bad game otherwise. guy is just off lately

    too many TOs again too

    His expected 3FG% is 30.9 , his 3 FG% is 31.7%

His shots selection from 3 is just bad and always has been for the most part .

I’m not sure what your point is here. I misspoke, his 3% last ten games is worse than I thought- it’s 27%. As I said, he’s off. 1-7 tonight. Career he’s 35% from 3. What’s going on Luka?

He's definetely off but it's hard to keep hitting such low % shots from 3 at a decent rate .

two things can be true. he's in a slump AND he has a tendency to take tough shots from three.

harden was always the same way, his career 3p% is 36%, but he's an outstanding shooter. luka's a 35% shooter from deep.

again, though, it's weird to me that kobe fans don't understand this. these guys take these shots in part to keep defenses honest. yeah, i know people are going to say that the "right" play keeps defenses more honest, but i'm actually not sure. the fact that luka's a threat to pull up early in the clock from 30 feet is what draws the doubles early in the clock at 30 feet, which creates even easier shots.

i just keep going back to how much better his teams are on offense when he's on the floor. he can't be as awful a decision-maker as everyone suggests and have that continue to be true. not possible.

anyway, he is definitely in a shooting slump, and i feel like he's had these month-long slumps basically every year of his career.

He’s clearly dealing with something physically, which is a big reason for the slump. Once AR is back, you’ll see him start load managing again. Beyond that, I agree with what abeer3 said, he still has to keep shooting, even if some of those attempts aren’t ideal. That shooting creates gravity, opens things up for everyone else, and lets other guys play to their strengths. It’s part of who Luka is and how he impacts the game.

i will say that the turnovers are confusing/concerning me. again, he's not a low-turnover guy, and his risk taking leads to easy buckets for both teams, just more for his. that said, he's up way too high there lately. didn't see this game, but in the last one, he threw the ball away on three of the exact same passes from the same spot. that's pretty uncharacteristic of him, in my experience.

Yeah, I would rather have Vando and LeBron shoot threes than Luka.
Let’s try this for a five game stretch and see how it works out.

Something is wrong with his elbow area. He was pointing towards it and grimacing on the bench during a timeout last night.

being an old nba fan, it's almost always an injury that's not disclosed. it's why reaves started looking mortal a few weeks ago, and it's why luka is only one of the top 100 players ever right now instead of one of the top 20.

i'm not worried about luka, long-term. he could play better, and he has played and will play better.

Not having the stepback 3 is just taking away a huge part of his arsenal. He's still awesome getting into the paint but we need some stepback Luka Magic to beat the better teams in the league.

lol yeah. this is what spawned the embiid/kawhi idolatry. those guys NEVER play unless they're 100%. and they rarely play.

one thing i'd say for AD is that he'd go out there when he was clearly less than 100% and just take the lumps because we were generally better off with 70% AD than with no AD.

Sengun had an ankle injury one minute into the game, so the Rockets lost to Dallas. AD had a good game.

    The Spurs also lost tonight.
