It helps when Lebron, Luka & Reaves carry so much attention. Hayes is out there in the middle of the ocean with lots of time, he just has to see who rotates over to him and the cutting laker behind that rotation and it's easy. Ayton doesn't get this kind of space because he'll just score every time. It's a good problem to have for the lakers, who do you double or guard?

He’s been really solid, there’s little bits of progress there in multiple areas for sure. Also this was nasty

Another strong game from Jaxson. The alleged 15lbs of muscle he added seem to be real and it shows in his game like in AR’s. He’s showing moves around the rim he didn’t have last year, some really good defense at times, including out to the perimeter, rim protection, rebounding and nice passing out of the key. It’s hard to see the definition up top with the loose t-shirts he wears under his jersey but the added strength like Austin has helped elevate his game.

You can tell the team has really emphasized him passing out to the open corners and he’s done an excellent job of it. Now if those players can just make the wide open shots.

i still don't think he was that bad last year. he's better this year, but he didn't suck last year. he got scapegoated a bit in the playoffs when basically the whole team failed that whole series.

Another of our guys that loves it here and come salary talks this summer will take less to stay than likely he can get with another team. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed.

I’ve always backed Jax, just to be clear! :) As long as you keep expectations realistic, you’ll see he really does contribute in meaningful ways.

Props to Jax for holding his ground physically vs two bruisers like Embiid and Drummond. A year ago he would’ve landed in the 3rd row.
