    LoL typical Doc:Laugh:
    After loss to Knicks
“The main thing is that they have 13 more field goal attempts and 8 more free throws. We are ahead of others in shooting efficiency (3rd place), making 52%. But turnovers, offensive rebounds, and fouls are killing us.

This is a numbers game, and you have to win it — especially considering Giannis Antetokounmpo. If we handle that, we’ll start winning,” reasoned head coach Doc Rivers.

Currently, the Bucks generate almost the fewest second-chance opportunities (2nd to last) and get to the free-throw line less than others. They rank below average in contesting opponent shots (19th), forcing turnovers (19th), and offensive rebounds (30th).

And I think it's a bunch of lip service to this ring is the ONLY thing. No way in H all these people don't get enjoyment ALSO out of the regular season when you have a good team playing good basketball, and especially with special and great players on it, if we are so fortunate. As we do in spades again this year. Thank you Nico!! Injuries on top of all that Wino said above, LESSEN the odds even further to win a Ring in any season. Everything has to break perfectly almost, in addition to having a competitive team capable of reaching the Finals and then bringing it home.

I guess that's why you never grace us with talking basketball about our team and players any more around here?

No, because I watch on an 8.5' wide screen 12 feet away from me and only have my phone to look down at in my lap in a light controlled room to type on. While it definitely IS fun, it's too distracting and I miss too much. Also I usually watch on time shift so I can skip the commercials. I'd hardly call what you or anyone else does there in the heat of the moment play to play .... any in depth talk about our team, all the subjects that are up here, or individual players. You just come in here to make OX proclamations and that's it.

:Jeanie Srsly: …. you call that kind of posting any insight as to what you actually think about all the important Lakers and players topics? It’s just you pontificating. Sometimes I agree / other times not. Learned nothing from your “wealth” of Lakers knowledge in any kind of detail. To agree with or not.

Sure, but that's just you, or rather... that's just one way to look at things. I, for example, really appreciate the journey and derive pleasure from small things in life.

I celebrate the journey after the title. That’s when it’s at its moistest.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked Kareem.

Admit it ..... you're just parroting Kobe and MJ who were players, and YOU do enjoy watching the Lakers play during the damn season. It's ludicrous to say you don't if you're a basketball fan and Lakers fan. It's impossible to win a ring every year. I call BS.

    I’m somewhere in the middle.
During the Kobe/Shaq years, I would get really pissed after every loss because I knew what they could be. Then we had the glorious three peat season.
The wasted Kobe years, post Shaq and pre Pau were some of the most frustrating because most of us knew Kobe wasn’t surrounded with the right pieces.
My expectations change from group to group, and era to era, so it’s different every five years or so.
Even during the Bubble Season, I enjoyed the ramp up because I knew we had a chance of winning it all.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that even in the years in which I feel we have zero chance of winning the Larry, I can still enjoy the ride.
One of my favorite groups was the early to late 90s groups after Showtime that showcased Van Exel, Eddie, Threatt, Lynch, Campbell, Vlade, ect.
I knew these guys weren’t going to go all the way, but they were still fun to watch.
For me the “wasted seasons” are ones in which we had the team to do it, but either a key injury(Malone in ‘04) or slightly better opponent snatched away the prize.
