Point yall are missing and I have facts to backup my evidence when Davis was switched on Curry in the playoffs he took him straight up. Zubac can’t do that. And was never able to do that.

teams can easily get around him. Clippers have been getting blown out by younger more athletic teams. It’s not just the age on the wing.

They have Derick Jones Jr. before he got hurt Kawhi Collins and Nunn

Their interior has been getting destroyed. And you can see what other teams Biggs and ones have done against them. Shots at the rim field goal percentage.

People talk crap and run their mouth but I saw a play where Luka missed a shot and got right around Harden and Zubac for a rebound.

He’s big but to say he’s some kind of great defender is not good.

Hes not even good as a Marc Gasol or Pau Gasol at their best. Not a shot blocker like a Porzingis.

he’s more in the tier of a Vuccevic.

The Gasols were perennial All Stars…

I’m certainly not defending his play, but that comparison is kind of a tough one

Fat Gasol's play here, was all the evidence I needed! He was a looong way from DPOY Gasol.

One thing I did love about Marc tho, and I wish he had imparted some of it to AD. If he was in the paint, and you tried to attack the rim off the dribble, he would whack your a**! You were NOT going to clown big Marc! I loved that part of his time here. He didn't gave a damn who you were, I respect and salute that. He had pride, and carried himself like an OG enforcer. He was just cooked on the perimeter, and surprisingly gun shy on offense. I lost count of how many times, I was screaming at the TV, when he kept passing up open looks at the top of the key!

i realize that evidence has never worked here, but once again--gasol's issues here were on offense, not defense. saying he couldn't defend is just folks leaning on stereotypes, not evidence.

kinda like saying zubac is a "terrible defensive liability".

Well stats can lie sometimes. Anyone who watched him that season, knows that every single guard in the NBA, blew by him at will on the perimeter. However like I said above, he held his own in the paint and deterred his share of layup/dunk attempts.

I'm still with Tony Hawk on Ivica, as it pertains to a matchup against US. He's dogfood for Luka, Lebron and Austin. The only slight chance they'd have against the Lakers in the playoffs, is to limit his minutes. IMHO.

I don't know how he fares against other teams, don't really care either.

Anyone who watched that season knows we were a top 5 defensive team in the league until Gasol went down with injury. This includes a stretch of games after AD was hurt. Facts > feelings.

Evidently you missed the Phoenix series. Top 5 defense didn't mean jack s***. The playoffs are what counts around here junior.

Fwiw..Gasol's 19 min a game wasn't exactly, some huge key factor, in the defense that season. Frank is a damn good defensive coach. He made it happen with Kuz and Trez, no defense playing a****, getting heavy minutes. I give him his due on that.

s*** fell apart completely against the Suns without AD tho.

I deleted my comment because you aren’t worth the time and that’s my fault for engaging, but wanted to add clarity since it would look like you were responding to Ox.

Might be time for the nurse attendant to regulate your screen time.
These emotional outbursts aren’t healthy for you.

No worries I have a 2 year old in a hitting phase, so I’m used to the toddler antics.

Maybe hot 5 years older (now) wife takes too much of his energy .... instead with the "Honeydo" lists as opposed to when she was hot 5 years older girlfriend?
