Timme got that slowish, unassuming, old man YMCA game. I wonder how it would translate to the bigger, faster NBA? I mean, Kyle “SLO-Mo” Anderson has made a career out of it.
Can we swap Koloko for Timme on the 2-way already? Feel like Timme can easily carve out a spot a role player in this league (ie Olynyk minus the dirty antics). He has limitations, but he’s just a hooper.
I don’t think Timme is an NBA player, he’s a bit undersized for how slow he is, I just don’t see it. He looks like an overseas guy to me. Also we are already way over the quota. I agree we could do better than Koloko though, guy hasn’t really progressed at all, he’s just tall. Mañon looks interesting though, especially his defense, worth keeping an eye on at least.
Sorry Christian. Not like they didn't give him Lots of chances. Wow I forget who called it here but props. Was completely unaware of this guy and someone in the main trades and current events thread, I think, said something like it was a low key sneaky great thing the Lakers managed to pick him up. Raise your hand and take a bow. Very similar to @Kobeluka99 preaching about trying to get DomiNayton this summer, only expecting we would have to trade for him or something requiring assets.
I'd like to rephrase my earlier take that he could easily be a role player and say it wouldn't surprise me if he becomes an NBA player. The odds are against him. I'm only going off of a few NCAA tourney games and box scores with South Bay. With the proper BB IQ, guys with his shortcomings can find their place in the league but it's still unlikely. On a separate note, it's only 5 games but Mañon is shooting 50% from 3 on over 3 attempts per game to go along with 17/7/3 with 3 SPG.
He's already better than Koloko and what was his name Trey I watched couple of games of South bay and he is only going to be substitute for Hayes He's definitely NBA player P.S . Unfortunately we can't wave Bronny, but it's another story
