[IMG] your call of course. I'm wondering if outside the eye sockets is better or as good .... first impressions? Nice job with the animation and mouth.

I had to redirect the domain that hosted that image. Let me see if I can find it and rehost it for you.

Yeah, some AI stuff does a little of what it wants haha. Even despite asking it not to do that, it improvised and "improved" on my request. Dang T1000 just doesn't listen.

I thought this was an interesting perspective my "manlisten" on LG. Food for thought. I'm sure Dodger fans will critique & counter, but it's interesting, nonetheless.

wow. couldn't it be argued that this has been the most functional part of the organization overall for the past decade or so?

Probably, and it plays into the same set up with corporate American business where they usually get rid of the least problematic party of the dip**** leadership.

However, Jeanie and Rob will eventually be done with too. Have to get rid of the PPP Loan stench and greaser car salesman odor eventually.

    This is a good start.

why not just do it all at once then, right? guess i'm not familiar with corporate america, but intuitively, i'd keep the part of the organization that had outperformed the rest.

I’m not a big fan of these firings. I would have rather they bring in more scouting staff than fire the Buss boys, but I guess the bright side is Mark is showing he WILL make impactful changes.

it’s hard to tell if the Buss’s were responsible for some of the duds we’ve drafted over the past few years, or were those picks Rambi influenced.

Either way, I’d like Kurt to go ASAP if they’re firing front office staff

I suppose it could be argued 100% of their focus was not on this job is they started their own sports acquisition group.

we clearly had good results with them around, so hopefully it continues

Like I wondered in the other thread, maybe that’s why they started the other company? Knowing “this” was coming?

New ownership wants their own team & that's pretty much it, IMO.

exactly. that's always how it was going to be

the buss bros were good at their jobs for the most part, but walter wasn't going to continue allowing the lakers to be a mom and pop shop. and they were only hired for their jobs because they were family to begin with. jeanie will eventually be gone as well

Rob got Luka so you go after the non-Rob linked parts of the org first? Just food for thought on how these internal politics work sometimes.

Yes, I would agree it has, which is why we better be bringing in better people, otherwise why do it. That said, if they’re going to try to be the best in all areas I do think the scouting can improve. We could do better finding guys like say Isaiah Joe that develop into real rotation guys, we haven’t had a ton of that here, a lot of our G-League guys are cycled through, haven’t found a lot of keepers. That’s not to say those guys did a bad job, but we now have the ability to up our game there, maybe they were resistant to the changes and had to go, who knows.

Edit: I wasn’t aware that Joey and Jesse had apparently started a new separate company as well. Maybe their time had started to be split too much.
