    My prediction: What’s next?

    Shams:
“Sources: NBA will introduce AI-powered RestBot that automatically decides when stars need a nap.”

At this rate they’ll have more medical tests than actual games played.

Can the Kings just send us Keon Ellis already. It's 6 mins to go in the 4th and he has played 6 minutes. We can send them Knecht and a first for Ellis.

I don't know what the Kings are doing - a logical plan would be they are trying to showcase guys like MOnk and Lavine to trade them. Then you give minutes to Ellis in the second half of the season to see if it's worth giving him a contract? I don't know it's the Kings.

Hopefully Portland is willing to give up Thybulle as a backup.

Get these guys into teams who want them - it's better for the league than wasting these guys on trash teams

ellis's agent has to be either agitating or assured that pioneer's plan is what's happening.

i'm not sure how losing all your games is going to pump lavine or monk's value, but kangz is kangz, i guess. i hope rob's pulling some of his famous serpentine movement and having ellis's agent tell people that he's coming here in FA next year anyway.

as for thybulle, my guess is still that portland uses his and williams's contracts to get a player they want long-term (like we hope to do with gabe/kleber--well, except svtzr). then whomever gets those guys will cut thybulle, and he'll hit the buyout market, likely with us as a chief suitor (and with an open roster spot and the room under the first apron to pay the pro-rated amount...).

I’m just not keen on sending out a young promising potential star, for the sake of an expiring contract.

Do you guys remember Vasashi’s love for vonleh? Or Sirron harping about Bender? I feel like I’m entering that territory hahaha. I’ve got to stop

Apparently they knew it was coming. There was a news post here a few weeks back they, or one or the other had started up some kind of new company (forgetting exactly) that would be dealing with multiple sports. Kurt may be next. Not sure about Linda as she specifically has been in business with Jeanie for decades. Maybe will have to be paid privately, or just as easily may be gone too at some not distant point.

Definitely not a surprise. Org is about to be overhauled in a good way. Rambis family definitely should be on the clock.

…I’ll just say that while I really did not like how Magic quit his observations of our organization’s issues weren’t wrong.

I don’t think the Buss brothers were a part of the problem. But I completely understand wanting to build up a fully staffed modern front office on all fronts.
