LABron James Discussion: The Final Year?

Just a reminder. Stephen A doesn't like LeBron James

 

I agree completely, still a game changing player but his knowledge and leadership will be just as important if not more so. Considering how many games major players have missed and LeBron not playing at all, we are sitting pretty good.

 

See .... sometimes You too can sound rational about LeBron the player on the floor, instead of being a rabid hater of him there too because of all his other baggage. Props!

I only rag on him in the off-season and it is typically ego/selfishness related. I'm going to enjoy our championship run and see how he does as our sixth man before resuming ragtime...lol.

 

Yeah but some of your comments about him on the floor several weeks back were really nasty and gave impression you just wanted him gone and we would be a better team. Uhh NO! He will definitely add to what we have going on this year. And like every single other player at whatever age we have them .... hope for health in the playoffs. S*** happens injuries or could be attributed to age .... makes no difference. The player is still OUT.

 

I have a short term memory for such things. The only really bad thing I remember saying was that he sabotaged AD during some of the games, which IMO he clearly did. I don't see that happening again as he doesn't have that control anymore. IMO, LeBron sees this as his chance for that elusive #5, so he should be all in. When he was doing the ball pounding and grinding us to a halt offensively to get the scoring record quicker, I will admit to complaining about that but so did many others. I don't think I have been particularly unfair. I have actually been complimentary of his basketball skill. We have some that praise him to the point of being nauseating so we kind of balance each other out...lol.

 

It really boiled down to like 2 sentences I thought were over the top in addition to all you said above which is reasonable. All good.

 

Just need him to play the Draymond Green role with a bit more scoring.

Some have accused me of not being a LeBron fan but even so I have to ask, was this sarcasm?. There is some chance LeBron disrupts our chemistry but IMO with Luka and AR handling the ball and the attention Ayton draws LeBron is going to elevate us with his off ball play. I just don't see how he can demand the ball anymore with Luka here. Plus we have Bronny to keep him in line.
