Smart is setting the tone and doing the little things that provide the glue on a good team 7 steals is amazing
Like his 3 ball, his passes can get a bit dicey. Some of those bounce passes are truly cover your eyes and look between your fingers kind of passes, but he's a great secondary playmaker out there you can have support Luka or Austin in any lineup. But that's not what I'm here to talk about. it's the SEVEN steals. Man oh man! My favorite was the one he wrestled away under Charlotte's basket. Just ripped it way from the kid. Non stop give a f*** and effort. That's how it's done.
i was glad we signed him but skeptical about his impact. it's been basically better than i could have hoped, tbh. tone setting all over the place.
Yeah, this is exactly the kind of guy we’ve been looking for. I’ve been wanting a tough defender who can score a bit and also serve as a secondary playmaker, but we always seemed to end up with a bunch of unlikable players who couldn’t shoot or really contribute to winning. This is the first time we actually got what we needed, and Smart is someone who’s easy to root for, too.
Been wanting Smart to be a Laker since he was in college. Pretty much what I was expecting and a huge piece of our championship push. Hopefully this is where he ends his career. You can't be a bunch of pansies getting pushed around with Smart on your team. Tough/Talented = Dangerous.
Feel like this is a scheduling loss anyway, so I’m fine with it. Hopefully an opportunity to see Adou get some burn.
