I don’t know what it is with Atlanta and that whole southeast road trip but they never play well there no matter what is going on. Since 2000-01, they’ve lost half the time in 26 seasons. 13 times in Atlanta. I don’t get it.

feel like the wizards have also been a bugaboo, even though they almost always suck. wonder if it's time change plus all these teams always suck so it's hard to get motivated for the game. boston and ny have the time change, too, but these are big games nationally. does anyone know we played atlanta's b-team last night?

There has to be something like that to it (time change, etc). Just crazy how often we lose to these types of teams no matter how good we are.

Giving up 40 to this team in the first quarter was embarrassing and inexcusable.
Good to see them take the third seriously, but then let them back in it in the back half of the fourth.
That Nipple Kid of theirs is pretty good.
    Luka dunked!!!
Luka and Reaves both making 70 footers after the whistle blew and then joking with each other who’s was furthest was the highlight for me.

Yea, right after Trudell (or was it Billy Mac?) talked about how AR and Luka were competing like brothers in practice, and they did half-courters today or the day before and AR won. Then whistle blew as Luka put up a 70 footer and it went in. The camera wasn't on the ball but you could hear it swish and the crowd oohed and ahhed. Luka then clowned on AR, "did you see that?" A few minutes later the same thing: AR had the ball about 60 feet away, the whistle blew and he chucked it and it went in. He and Luka were having a good time.

Horrible defensive 1st Q. I like how they took it seriously and pushed the lead to 18, but then they did what they've been doing all year: the relax and the other team comes back to make a game of it. CHAR got it to a 2-possession game with 44 secs left.

I thought Rui's shot looked great: 9 of 12 from the field. There was one soft touch 3 that somehow dropped in, but most of his shots were either layups or that sweet midrange in which the ball hits the back of the rim and goes straight down through the hoop.

The D was lax for too much of the time. It's as if they're content to play at 3/4 pace/energy.

The OKC game looks daunting to me, frankly. It would be nice to have the Old Man back, but obviously they aren't rushing it.

3rd Q has been our weakness so good to see us win that

    About that 1st Q though....

All said and done we beat a team we need to be beating and we are now 8-3

watching okc just thrash the gs team that beat us at home handily is a bit disheartening re: our next game.

Golden State are 4-6 in their last 10 and are trending downwards, while we are 8-2 and very much trending upwards. It’s not disheartening when the Warriors are looking like a play in team.

I expect a loss tomorrow but not a blow out. We’ll raise our game and Luka and AR will go for 60, just not sure we have the defenders to hold off OKC without Lebron.

curry missed some of those, though, right? and horford missed the last one--he's also sat for 5 of their 12 games.

still mad we drew them for game 1 in what might be their best game of the season, lol.

The ESPN preview has Dort, Wiggins and Jalen Williams projected to return against us tonight lol. Not sure if that's true but would be funny.
