I ran it back 3 times. Bronny gets knocked back about a foot - foot and a half but balance not fazed and still completely vertical. From the impact he generated with the accelerated start and forward lean Holiday bounced off Bronny and was knocked backward about a foot and was straightened up. That was impressive. 6 years from whatever his prime years strength is going to be. Remember the first SL game this year against Dallas when Cooper Flagg tried to bump him backward from left of the key and James braced back and held his ground and then reached around and stole the ball cleanly but got whistled?
Remember when Bones Hyland, fell out like he'd been hit by a Mack truck, after crashing into Bronny's chest?
Great game from Bronny. Played with a lot of energy, distributed the ball well and played great defense.
those little shovel pass/dump offs in the lane were nice. if he gets regular burn, teams will start challenging him to finish those himself.
That’s my only caveat for him the last couple of games. He’s made great passes but he’s going to have to be able to score on those kinds of possessions as well.
6 assists and several trips up the floor under pressure, and into the key against Portland’s vaunted defenders with 0 turnovers. His handle’s leagues better than year one, improving in real time. Made plays both sides of the ball.
Got a ways to go, but like several of us have stated here, there is a path for him to develop into a good role player in the NBA. I can’t wait to watch this one tonight. I was too busy hunting more crow last night for my Ayton Crow Stew special that’s been cooking on the stove throughout most of the season.
The potential is here to develop as a winning player in the NBA .. The next step is to take the wide open shots with confidence
Sorry Bud it’s true. Some of us will even be rooting for him to continue playing “reasonably” well so early, just one year in … surprise surprise huh? Instead of rooting to be right and against him.
